Maybe 😏🤔 you could do a stay vacation in your city with a FREIND to a hotel 🛍️ or FREINDS or relatives house & go to concert, play, art museum, massage, facial, same day art class, ⛱️ beach, water park, RESTURANT, poetry reading, comedy show. There's colleges, city stadium event, zoo, out door plays , out door movie, dance class, special hair dresser or saloon care, coffee ☕ house, barbque out doors, dog & 🐕 mamma restaurant, church concert or seminar for ladies. Many places have seating for disabled & your still in your city 🏙️ for medication or medical care if needed. It can refresh you & see new 🆕 experience & events on another side of your own city until you can travel further to another country or state. God bless you , restore & renew your mind spirit body 👅 and you recieve even GREATER joy, peace, ✌️🕊️ Prosperity 💪🙏 & great new friends to enjoy more of life with now , Amen !!!!!! 🌹 😁

Hard work not equaling more money is a such a true statement. My last job burnt me out during the pandemic, as hard as I worked for them, it was the still the same pre-pandemic disrespect. It sucked to leave after all the time I out in, but I couldn't take it anymore. Retooling my life now. Tired of over work and struggle for nothing.

I have spent a lifetime being a Multipotentialite. It has been a remarkable life. It has taken me down so many creative worm holes. As a recently retired schoolteacher I always encouraged my students to just decide what they wanted to do FIRST! Life is filled with so many opportunities to grow and learn. AND what you do for a living may not be the gift you bring to your life and others. Sometimes you might work at multiple jobs to fund your painting, singing, research etc. Being a Multipotentialite gifted me with a mastery of: motherhood, teaching, library science, sewing, reading, crafting, polymer clay work, bookmaking, authorship, genealogy, and now a KZbin creator. The list goes on and it has been an AMAZING life. Embrace the hummingbird in you!🥰🥰🥰

I always do this when I lsten to the videos & I guess this is normal human behavior. I would like to add a couple of things. I have been to Costa Rica numerous times (more than 25) before moving there about 3-4 hours from San Jose airport. The first is you can get a bus almost anywhere in Costa Rica & they are frequent. If you live in the beach towns, you can get a bus all day long. Most Ticos don't have cars because they are very expensive. So public transportation is a must. Also there is definitely a rainy season in Costa Rica. However, there are a lot of micro-climates in Costa Rica & not every area is the same. Guanacaste has a lot less rain than other areas. Additionally, like every place in the world, weather patterns change. I have talked to several people who have lived in Costa Rica all of their lives & some expats who have lived their more than 10 years and they say the last 2 years, they have had more rain than they have seen in their lifetime. So weather patterrns change. Also you can live in Costa Rica cheaply if you chose, even in the beach towns. My daughter in law lived in a beach town where her rent for a studio nice size for $400-500 a month, close to stores, restaurants, etc. You can chose to go to restaurants that are expensive or cheap with decent food. It's up to you. I have met several black people that have moved to Costa Rica & really like it.

So true. It's safer out of the USA than in.. The stress alone weighs heavily on our chests. You don't realized it until you leave and go to the Caribbean or South America. You can literally feels the stress plucked out of your chest when you land in these countries. One gains a refresh soul in those countries. It's so freeing.

I'm sooo ready, I'm single, no kids, no pets not tied to anything. I haven't worked in two years (actively searching) because my mental health was more important, so I took some time to just travel a little. I've been in the states for over 12 years coming from the Caribbean I'm really missing that island environment. looking into Costa Rica seems like it would be a much cheaper alternative to moving back home to the Virgin Islands where everything is radically expensive. And ready to eat all the fruits and veggies I want.😋

@@eileenwatt8283 Even then. It’s not just about not having enough money. If each child has school activities, Have to navigate all their extra curricular activities etc. I work from home and it is impossible to spread myself all around unless u hire someone to take them everywhere which is a big help but each child wants to see your face at their game or at their performance not some stranger standing in moms place. Been there it hurts… no ease there at all. Even when yur sick and barely can move you have to carry on go pick them up etc etc. help with homework and meltdowns etc etc no ease there. Everyone is different tho. But all I know is there is NO ease in raising kids even when there are both parents much less by yourself. Have to find a way to maintain peace in yur mind during the chaos and this has nothing to do with having enough money … in my opinion tho.

@@andreasamuels5875 working from home in America is living indoor in a prison. Especially in the winter time. You are stuck indoors. Working from home in tropical climate means you take your computer on the beach, back yard or wherever you want. One is not indoors. American kids are over booked with unnecessary planned activities. Unless a child is born gifted with athletic abilities which is determined from age of 3 then sports is just PE at school and playing with kids at home. People don't do ruddemental sports and a gifted child has a chaperon who picks them up on weekends for training . During the week they have training during PE separately from the children who aren't naturally gifted. Patents seldom drive kids around. The best of Olympic champions from Jamaica were not chauffeured by their parents. Their parents didn't have cars. People parent differently in those countries. No stress about activities. Only stress is finding money to purchase books etc. When you are sick in the islands people drop by with food to care for you. People are not isolated and everyone for themselves. Neighbors look out for each other. Children walk to school together. There are no school buses. Schools are within walking distance. When I was growing up in the islands it would be embarrassing to a child if a parent came to get them after school especially if they lived near the school. It puts the child in awkward position of " better than" parents wouldn't do that to their children. We play on our way home from school especially if it's raining. We just play in the rain. Parents have rules on manners etc. But they don't micromanage like USA. Children do their homework at the school at the end of the day. Parents pay a small fee and a teacher helps them. As for parents going to activities. There is sports day which parents attend. If the child is a singer there is one time performance which the parents attends. Parents don't come to rehearsal and practices. That would be unnecessary. The final protect is what they see after all the training. It puts the children at ease knowing parents aren't hovering, criticizing or yelling during their training.

@@eileenwatt8283 I am from the islands, I went to school there as well, so am very familiar with the lifestyle and mentality there. Also, I don't believe in overworking kids. However, If my kid shows interest in something, I put them in it. I live in America. There is no transportation for kids to get to whatever activity they are in, so it's all on the parent. Im, not a helicopter parent. I don't yell or criticize when I'm at practice or a game. I don't like that! i'm just in the background supporting my kid. My kids love when they look up and see me at a game or performance. Every family dynamic is different. Also, I love working from home, I don't feel like I'm in prison at all! it's the best feeling ever. I don't care where I am. I fix up my surroundings both inside and out, so it feels peaceful inside and I can look outside at my lovely garden. When I go home to the islands, i enjoy the beach etc. I don't need to be in it every day. Everyone is different. Working from home is not for everyone. I don't enjoy being around people so it works out very, very very well for me regardless of where i am. 😊

Adopting at 50 y.o. Yes, there are adoption agencies that allow adults up to 60 y.o. to adopt in CR. Are you prepared to UNCONDITIONALLY love a child that has experienced and is suffering from trauma (which is VERY common with older children)? Will you UNCONDITIONALLY love a child that is experiencing serious physical or mental health problems? If you move to another country, taking a child away from all that they know in CR, are you prepared to deal with them not adjusting AT ALL? You are healthy now, but that can change in your 50's (it did me). Do you have a backup if you get sick, become hospitalized? Will your family take care of a child who may or may not have physical or mental health problems if you get sick? There is not a life of "ease" when raising children, even in the best of circumstances. This is a lot to consider. Highly suggest working with a therapist to process your desire to parent at this stage of your life. I truly, truly, truly wish you the best! Also LOVE your videos!

I appreciate you sharing your opinions and experiences regarding Costa Rica. It seemed like a done deal for me to just to go and spend some time in Jaco to make the decision to reside there. However, after perusing through several real estate sitesfor several different cities, to get an idea of the rental rate of a two bedroom apartment or condo, it was almost immediately apparent that their rental pricing is comparable to the US, but for less sq. ft. I would be relocating alone, but would need a 2 bedroom, 1 for an office. The english teaching salaries are really low and I am not sure about having to leave every 90 days in order to renew my visa. If other cost of living conditions were favorable, I would tolerate it. I am checking out Thailand next. I did want to stay closer to the U.S however; Costa Rica's cost of living may not give me a break from the cost of living in the U.S. It sounds and looks amazing though. Thank you.

San Jose is never an area that I would chose to live, each to his/her own. It's not a desirable area for most people relocating. Just saying. If you want to live closer to that area, there are more desirable areas that are not that far away. But if anyone choses to live there, I wish them the best.

Well, because it's the capital things are more available and accessible there. From other You Tubers it seems it's a challenge living away from a city. They need SUVS to manage the roads.

If you do not have a healthy relationship with what you need in life you will not have it. I like and love money and i receive it. Money comes to me easily. Money comes to me easily...if i hate it i wont have it. But i dont worship it

Good info and a very serious but fun video. I'm glad I found (without looking) your channel. I subscribed right away. Thanks and be safe.

I hope you do not care that a 66 year old man who has been going to Costa Rica for over years the last time I lived down there for six years probably but I really love your channel. You’ve got some interesting advice and it even works for old guys like me because I’m planning on coming back there mid September for how long I don’t know.
