You forgot one of the most important things about her. She inherited a rare genetic disorder, which made it very difficult for her to marry a typical husband. Apparently, her great-grandmother or grandmother suffered from the same illness. That might be one of the reasons why she chose the guy.

When you give a weak-minded person a power in general, the outcome is always negative to himself and most especially to people that surrounds him. They are fueled with their revenge, or jealousy, or insecurities, and/or selfishness. They are Ungrateful and Destructive.
@ue2267

100%. I learnt this through my ex narc abusive husband. When you are in the dating phase, above all other things, watch out to see how weak or strong minded they are. When an inconvenient situation arises, how do they respond? This here will save you time and heart break. A weak-minded individual will always be plagued by insecurities and revenge. A strong-minded individual will think of solutions, have self-awareness and will be mindful of where they place their energy.

few months ago, the case of Abby Choi was all over. This is why the case of marriage where the wife is economically, financially above that the husband always ends up horribly. The same thing happened to one common family in my city months months ago. The wife was the earner while husband was unemployed drunkard. He brutally murdered her and the kids because she had enough of the abuse and wanted to leave him. Few weeks ago our country had a case of husband beating his wife till her uterus fell out and until the neighbours had to physically go ham in order to stop the husband. The reason? The wife was the breadwinner, member of the city council and she had arrived home late at night from work in her colleague's motorcycle. A man can't handle his wife being better than him. The male ego is too fragile and they are unfairly physically too strong. All of the women I've mentioned in my comments led a horrible life and had a horrible end just because their husbands can't stand the idea of their wives being better than them.

This is toxic, you are catching some bad cases and saying that it is the rule, when its not, I know some couples were the woman is the bread winner, and they are still together for years Your comment is implying that the men should earn more than woman and that every woman should never date a man who earns less than her, because they will become abusive, when in a bunch of relationships were the the man earns more, they are still abusive, this is a case of bad people, some man beat their wife's because the feel like they are above them because they have more money than her, and some because they feel inferior and self conscious, the problem is not woman dating man who earn less, this a bad massage to pass on, that the man should always earn more, or he will become abusive, when a bunch of man who earn more are still abusive

I definitely think BJ intended to marry a commoner from the start so she could build up her career without the distractions and sexist expectations that come with marrying into another rich family. She’s just way too smart to let her life be essentially dictated by in -laws and “familial duties”, which I’m sure she has seen happen to women in the chaebol realm many times before. It sucks that the commoner ended up being a dickhead. I know many commoner men would have literally bowed down to her and treated her with utmost respect if she chose to marry them instead. Ugh. Seriously she’s such a girl boss and I’m all for her 👏👏👏

Actually, I think the point of that story literally is that there is no way for a woman to ever know what kind of a person she's going to get. It's always a game of lottery with men. Even the richest, smartest, most beautiful, most resourceful, most infuential most capable of women can't necessarily land a good man. I am pretty sure she was smart enough to do her research, but it just isn't enough. Your man can turn out to be a monster after a decade of happy marriage, and you just never know until shit hits the fan. This just as in: it's a valuable lesson for women who blame themselves for ending up married to an awful dude. There was nothing you could have done differently, because the blame is all his.

That man's audacity is absolutely astonishing. Lee Boo-Jin deserved a better man than the likes of him. Not only does he cheat, but he abuses her?! The absolute gall. I'm glad that she's doing very well for herself nowadays and he's just disappeared like dust in the wind. Serves him right. Also, I would be absolutely glued to the screen if they made a "The Crown" style show for the Samsung family.

I don't know who you are Miss Stephanie Soo, I've never seen any of your videos before. This appeared in my KZbin vids today so I opened it out of curiosity. Wow. I'm super glad I did. I found it extremely enjoyable. I actually watched the whole thing, which is surprising. Thanks for the entertainment.

I'm disappointed with the reality of the situation, but it's hilarious that he had the audacity to cheat with nothing to back it up with.

Years ago, I had an opportunity to marry a wealthy woman. Her family owned some kind of shipping company, I don't remember the details, and she was pretty well off but a bit abusive. She mocked the things that I liked and constantly put me down while telling me how lucky I was to be with someone as wonderful as her. I ended things with her and have never regretted that decision, but this story made me think about her. Everyone thinks it is easy to be rich, but those people are under a lot of pressure and stress. Most people probably couldn't handle it.

Sounds like you are making excuses for her, people everywhere are under a lot of stress but only she abused her partner.

@@bernardz1885To be fair there is that stigma for guys to be richer, more well off than their partners for a reason. Most women deep down want someone on their level or on a higher level. Most men deep down prefer a women on a bit lower level if they are not in the same level. Many marriages the opposite of that is often filled with bias and societal expectations against the less powerful/not well off guy and creates ugly marriages like these.

Yeah i get it her husband turned out a narcissist but her brother also got a divorce too even though that was an arrange marriage. It's not about love or arrange marriage, it's about knowing the person well before marrying and so many people are missing on this point🤦🏻‍♀️

You can only know someone so much before getting married. Some people have known each other for years and really well but divorce in a few months or years after marriage. Marriage is just a different ball game

@@atiyarahman3089 you really don't know the difference between knowing someone outside marriage and being in a marriage.. People have known each other for years, like I already said but marriage was totally different.

They should make a kdrama based on her (her life story), if there isn't already one. It just looks like a fun one to watch. A true girl boss bad a$s type female lead type, y'know? I'd love to watch that

Seems this woman is smart and she handled her business. and it’s very true. If she didn’t have to worry about in-laws, trying to step in or control things, she could just have control over everything. I want to have that level of emotional and intellectual self-control.
