This is one of the best grappling instructional videos on KZbin “hands down”… … “hands down” on the mat because your partner successfully pummeled you forward after you removed their outside foot on your hip because they watched this excellent video… … in other words, pun intended 👍🤘💪✨

Perfect timing. I have been wanting to figure out how to play and develop this as its a guard I rarely attempted. Thanks as always for the great in-depth guide and overview.

Stephan, I'd like to say a separate thanks for this video. I'm a blue belt that recently started playing with contemporary leg-lock entanglements. It can be frustrating and confusing and you keep that fundamental sanity check for me at all times which is extremely helpful. My suggestion to everyone out there who's confused - start here. If this is too hard - go to video #1 drill that to death, or maybe try something else. This is like that door to Narnia, because there is so many options.. but please try NOT to overdo it. Sync one little fundamental detail in and keep drilling.. try to understand WHY you are doing this too .. before you move onto your knee-shredding-spree.
