Didn’t KD say that he knew that that was his last season there? They offered him the most money they could despite him being injured. The problem was with KD was a lack of transparency, he didn’t have to tell the media what was going on but for sure his teammates.

he risked his body for another title. They technically carried him to the finals and he was there to help them finish it off. And if we are being objective, had Klay not hampered his hamstring in game 2, which had him sit out game 3 and be compromised game 4, I think Warriors win in 6 or 7. In game 3 Steph went for 47 in a loss, in game 6 Klay was on absolute fire with the Warriors leading when he tore his ACL.
