He does give credit to Kyrie. The whole argument of SAS is that Anthony Edwards motivated Kyrie to play even better than usual. And aside from some personal criticisms of him he might have voiced in the past, SAS has always emphatically praised Kyrie as a fantastically talented player. It's only Luka that SAS never gives props to. Every segment is some new display of mental gymnastics meant to simply disregard Luka's value and dominance. He barely ever even mentions him in a separate sentence, praising him personally than praising the group, or saying something explicit rather than implicit. It's so painfully obvious that SAS has a pretty big bias against white superstars. Which I think is understandable within the historical context of racism in the US, even in sports. But still, the bias is there.

@drewengel70736 ай бұрын
@@jaydot4956 Ant was clearly saying that "it's going to be fun", in the way that I want to go against the best to become the best. In the previous two series, he has gone out of his way to become the defender on Durant, Booker, Beal, Jokic, and Murray, some of those defensive matchups might not have gone his way, but he wants to go against the best. Unlike other offensive stars, Ant isn't dodging the heat defensively, he wants to be the best two-way player in the league and you can only do that by guarding the best on defense along with your offense.

They only talk about Ant and Kyrie but nothing about Luka lmfao Yes, based on the analysis of the transcript, there does appear to be a bias in the discussion against talking about Luka Dončić individually. The speakers primarily mention Kyrie Irving or other players such as Anthony Edwards when discussing the game, while Luka Dončić is often mentioned in conjunction with Kyrie Irving or as part of a duo. Here's a summary of the distribution of focus in the transcript: Luka Dončić: 1 instance where Luka Dončić is discussed without any mention of Kyrie Irving. (talking about how they put rudy gobert on him alone and he couldnt do anything) Kyrie Irving: 3 instances where Kyrie Irving is discussed without any mention of Luka Dončić. Other Players: Anthony Edwards is frequently mentioned, especially in the context of his performance and his comments. Other players like Karl-Anthony Towns, Jaden McDaniels, and Rudy Gobert are also discussed, mainly in relation to their performances and how they are being defended or are defending. Analysis: The transcript shows a tendency to mention Kyrie Irving more often individually, highlighting his leadership, maturity, and specific actions in the game. Luka Dončić is primarily mentioned alongside Kyrie Irving, rather than being the sole focus of a discussion. When other players are discussed, it is often in the context of how they are performing relative to Kyrie Irving and Luka Dončić as a duo, rather than solely against Luka Dončić. This bias suggests that while Luka Dončić is acknowledged as a key player, the narrative focuses more on Kyrie Irving's individual contributions and leadership. This could be due to the recent dynamics of the team or the particular points the speakers wanted to emphasize about the game and the players' performances.

Elite Competitors turn it into disrespect. At face value what Anthony Edwards said wasnt bad at all like you said but legendary competitors find anything anyone says as motivation even if they have to make it up themselves. Also Ant feeling himself and all the Jordan talk surrounding him you know that pissed Kyrie Iriving off.
