I'm dead 😂! Stephen A., check this out. A lot of times, we just don't know so chalk it up to being young and inexperienced. One would think you know this or that but we don't. ...👉 True story, I thought the money being left on the table for tips was for the person that got to the table first to get the tip. I honestly didn't know it was for the waiter and not for the bus person that got to the table first. I kept taking the waiter's tips and putting the money into my pocket in full view 😂. That's how young and job inexperienced I was...👉 Like me, this young lady just might not know what to do or not to do for some things ... I stopped once I was informed on how tips work and for whom 🤣... 💯💯💯

Every single Gen Z (born 1997-2005) person that I know (several dozen) work their tails off. Went to college. Have jobs. Support themselves. Not one acts as if they’re entitled or demand income for not working. NOT ONE! A few are liberal kooks who really haven’t experienced a lot of hardship but… (I’m 60… and live in a small, middle class community in Upstate New York) God bless them for their work ethic and respectful attitude.

I always did multiple interviews with a prospective employee. You get a better feel for what kind of employee they will be . I also covered with them the attendance and punctuality standards. This is at they understand what they are getting into . Some will test you to see if you will follow through.

However, The moment you clock in you better be ready to take your first call, serve your first customer, run your first report etc. If you clock in and take 10 to 20 min to get ready to take your first task well you're costing me money. So power to you if you can clock in and be ready to roll but most people can't or won't, so that's why they show up early.

She actually may not be lazy. I learned really quick I couldn't do a clock in job. I have been salary since I was 24. I couldn't stand clocking in. I work like a dog when I get to work. I do get annoyed about people making a big deal out of a few minutes. These same people will give you Hella overtime, have you doing 4 or five different peoples jobs. I worked at macys and I would forget to clock in because people would be on the register where we clocked in. But I bust my butt commission was high. They accused me of stealing time, i walked right out.
