Oh yeah, because Shaq was dependant on his brute force, while Jokic is more versatile, and uses his high basketball IQ, anticipation, makes all the other players around him better, so it's easier to create a great team around him. Basketball is not an individual sport, take that into account. Kareem was great, but didn't fill out all the facets of the game like Jokic does (3pt shooting, assists, point center). Jokic is a unique player that you cannot compare to anyone in particular, only to a combo of great players (Magic, Bird, Duncan, Kareem, LeBron)

Nobody should feel bad for Miami losing this year. They fought with everything they had against an opponent that was so overwhelmingly better. Denver built this thing from the ground up. Starting with spotting the most unlikely Superstar of the last 20 years. You have to remember, they got jokic at the middle of the second round as i recall. And he wasn't awesome right away, he had to really work for it. And Murray was always hurt, so nobody really knew how good he was.

denver deserved it. they played hard, played as a team, and had amazing defense. another team with drafted players winning a chip. its how it should be done. like giannis for the bucks. joker got it done for his team. i rather have teams like those win over teams that gut their team to get allstars to form a super group....im looking at u T wolves. think about it a person drafted 41st became the face of a franchise and lead his team to a chip. its unbelievable how many high draft busts we have every year. like not even allstar level for some of these top 10 picks.

Not a choker but he's just not a superstar. The team always rely on Superstar iso when the game is down the stretch. Lebron drive , kd pullups , steph off the dribble 3 pointer. All of em superstar got a signature move to rely on .... Jimmy just doesn't have that ... He's just a hardworking player that's not talented enough
