Because they are stuck in the old ways of players staying with teams for 15 years before winning a ring. They want everybody to be Tim Duncan and Kobe and in the world of sports in the way that they won multiple titles but played for the teams for basically they whole careers. it’s different bro ring chasing is going to place where you know it’s a instant championship or you took the easier path it’s like if Bradley Beal has the lakers or the suns as options and he picks the lakers that’s ring chasing, with the suns he can still win but it’ll take all his efforts so we respect it

Yup, Russell is taking the criticism personally, as if SAS is impugning his character. This isn’t personal, it’s about what Russ is doing in his business. What he’s doing at his job. @@NotoriousN_I_G_ Bro you can't say he's doing a poor job, when he puts up numbers like this in a game. Yes its his job to help the team win, but its a TEAM effort. Russ is obviously doing his part in trying to make that happen. He's scoring, rebounding, he DEFINITELY NOT hogging the ball (21 freakin assists dude), and he's a leader to the young guys. @@airbaler with those numbers, influence the TEAMs he was on to do better. He's loser by the books plain and simple. Not in my book, the most overrated superstar of his generation by far, he's inefficient at everything he does on the court, is too bullheaded to improve his game for the sake of his teams, and has fooled a lot of people with his effort, attitude, and triple doubles. Westbrook is shrewd, he honestly isn't great at basketball, but he finessed the league through his athleticism and branding to being a perennial all star, super max player, and probably will go into the hall of fame just because of the triple double seasons which are frankly overrated once you look at his efficiency and his impact on winning.

@@treanderson6363 the problem boils down to work hard vs. work smart. True, he does go hard, but there are plenty of times when he should have been playing smart. He has really hurt his team in big games "going hard" when he should have deferred to others who were playing better. From that perspective, I totally understand the Russ criticism. He's crazy talented, but he has that bball IQ flaw at times.
