When I lived in Houston (60's-80's) The Astrodome had a trick of blowing the HUGE air conditioner fans towards the infield when the other team was up to bat. And, then blow the fans toward the outfield when the Astros were up to bat. Astros cheating? Nothing new at all! LoL

The stats make it obvious, the difference between 1st and 2nd in batting average is typically under 5 points. In 2017 Houston had a 10 point margin over 2nd place and added 40 points to their team batting average in 1 season probably with most of the same guys, a statistician would have noticed they broke multiple records in that season. I suspect the differential between their home and away average is a record what will never be broken.

The disparities between his home and away OBP and SP are up there as well. Not only should the Astros be stripped of the 2017 WS title, but Altuve should be stripped of his 2017 AL MVP as well.

Marcos Gonzalez Astros had a camera that could see the opponents catcher’s sign signals. They used that camera during the game they would secretly communicate to the batter letting them know for example a slider was coming in or a change up

The more I think about it, the more I realize this might be the biggest scandal to ever hit MLB. This altered careers: Girardi got fired, Kershaw’s career took a dive, the Yankees went out and spent $$ on pitchers thinking theirs wasn’t good enough, guys were traded, etc. Then Alex Cora gets the job with that Sox and does the same thing. Same result. Cora should be banned for life and those players should also receive suspensions

I think stripping titles is a meaningless endeavor. I saw those Fab 5 games. I saw those victories even if the NCAA says they don't exist. I saw Penn State win football games and bowl games even if the NCAA say they don't exist. I saw Barry Bonds hit those homeruns. We as people know these events happened. The players and the sports world around them celebrated. The casinos paid out winners and took money from losers. Stripping titles is lame. Yep. Off the top of my head I recall the University of Minnesota had to forfeit their 1997 Final Four basketball appearance after it was deemed a couple players failed exams and were helped by an administrator. Final Four banners at Williams Arena? Gone. All history of them playing in the Final Four? Gone. The Astros should have their pennants taken down, and MLB should not list a champion for that season.
