The Celtics were and are better without Kyrie. They got to the Conference Finals twice without him, when he went down for the season and then the season after he left. With Kyrie, Celtics got clapped by the Bucks in 5 in the second round. These are facts. With Kyrie during the first season I like their chances of getting past LeBron and Cleveland in that Conference finals to face the Warriors for the championship. Now having MJ is one of greatest building blocks ever, but there have been other great build blocks where poor team management disallowed their potential to come to fruition.
