Kyrie averaged only one point less than Bron in the 2016 finals… he had a 41 point game along with Bron. Bron did not win that chip alone… Kyrie needs more love for what he did during those finals. He was a beast.

@@MrHitmanjohnson1 on the Celtics he was injured the whole time and had screws in his knees. On the Cavs, before LeBron, he was playing with G-leaguers as a young player. What do u expect? His time and accolades on the Nets will solidify his legacy. He needs a ring on the Nets.

Nah. Kyrie NEEDED bron to carry him and he simply gave bron what he owed him. Kyrie can't carry a team and has never proven he can end of story. So just for those saying he could have got to 80, Kyrie played 35 minutes. That leaves only 13 minutes to get 20 points which is a rate of 5 points every 2 minutes from when he was pulled with 8 minutes remaining which is on pace for 120 points total if someone kept it up the whole game. On top of the feat he already pulled to get to 60? Unlikely. No one plays all 48 minutes in the NBA anymore because of fatigue, risk of injury and just respect for your own teammates and the opponents, even if they're the 2nd worst team in the NBA. Also btw KAT played only 1 more minute with 36 to get his 60 and had 11 more rebounds and 1 less assist (and gotta say too Kobe got 62 points in 32 minutes played against the Mavs when he didn't go on at all in the 4th that everyone seems to forget about) just saying

The Celtics were and are better without Kyrie. They got to the Conference Finals twice without him, when he went down for the season and then the season after he left. With Kyrie, Celtics got clapped by the Bucks in 5 in the second round. These are facts. With Kyrie during the first season I like their chances of getting past LeBron and Cleveland in that Conference finals to face the Warriors for the championship. The following year, it was literally Kyrie and his approach to leading the team that was their downfall.

The narrative that Boston was better without Kyrie is extremely exaggerated and weak. They were not better without Kyrie. Before Kyrie got hurt (thru about 60 games), they were the #1 team in the East, they were clearly headed to the finals... Did they get there without him?... Or did the young boys collapse under pressure vs CLE?... The next year, due to unexpected success previously, egos got in the way and they imploded... Kyrie goes to Brooklyn and the Celtics haven't been the #1 team in the East since. Not even close. Even Marcus Smart, the heart of the Celtics, comes out and tells the media that the Celtics demise wasn't because of Kyrie. Some players the media hates on no matter what, Kyrie is one of them.

@@mr.anderson3694 Once again, false. The chemistry with Kyrie WAS just fine. You guys disregard the shift that took place when the young guys got the big ego from the year before and started worrying about contacts and money, instead of their role. And then the log jam dynamic once Hayward came back and there was favoritism towards him. With chemistry, it typically gets better with time, not worse. So the fact that it started out great chemistry wise and then got worse, and continued to struggle even after Kyrie left, that means there was other stuff going on. It wasn't Kyrie just having bad chemistry, it was a bunch of factors coming to a head, which didn't exist in their first year together. The Celtics are literally just now, in the past few weeks, starting to gel. And Kyrie's been gone for years. Factually, it wasn't a Kyrie specific issue. He's the best pg with handles. He also made the clutch shots to get bron that Cleveland ring.

Kyrie didn't change the game?? He legit is the reason the crossover is as relevant as it is today more than anyone else in the league. His finishing is probably all time in itself. Im not a huge Kyrie fan but he's an all time great player.

Molly threw shade on Kyrie 10 days prior when he scored 50 pts against the Hornets. Now more shade when he put 60 up against the Magic?! Why so much Kyrie hate? Uncle Drew is a master at his craft point blank period! Now carry on...

I never understood the arguement of finals records, just making the finals is a huge accomplishment in itself. Jerry west, 1-8 in the finals, kyrie..1-2. But Kyries record is better?

In talent he is an all star. In love of the game and heart/endurance. Not even close. Kyrie plays a qtr of the season so is well rested more than anyone in the league and acts like it’s the same as doing the grind

Just because someone isn't in the top 10-20 all time doesn't mean they're not a notable all time great. Kyrie is a microwave and super clutch plus has the best handles of all time. I'm not surprised with Mad Dog though he said the same about Curry last week which is even crazier.
