One thing I loved about this game for Steph, he even shut all the people up that were shouting that he doesnt play defense. Dude was a monster on defense the whole night. Caused a whole bunch of those turnovers with not just steals, but good hands, pressure, and angles all night. Underrated defender. He's no Kawhi Leonard and he wont even "lock down" someone like Westbrook, but hes way better than people give him credit for.

Hopefully people startin to see the KILLER in Steph. It's not all just skill, which he has an absolute ton of, but it's his mentality too. It's been there for a long long time but glad he shows it even more on the biggest stages. Nothing personifies the KILLER in him more than when it's a closeout game and the other team is creeping back and he executes them possession after possession. I forget who said this before but those are the clutch plays, not just game winners and buzzer beaters, which he has plenty of as well

Note: Curry is the hardest Player to Guard in the NBA right now, and Warriors is arguably the best teams and yes the blew the Spurs out of the Park. But if you actually looked only 2 out of the 5 Starters played 25+ Minutes. It was mostly the Bench. I think Greg Pop is gonna do that until the Playoffs.

Yea there's a difference in their handles though, I just can't put my finger on what exactly it is.
@alexjoh6828 жыл бұрын
+gcasillas1213 I would say Kyrie's ball handling reminds me of an And1 player. Super fancy and kinda show offy at times. He is absolutely amazing don't get me wrong. Where as Curry isn't as flashy because he knows he doesn't need to be. He just does what's necessary to make the right play.
@gcasillas12138 жыл бұрын
+Alex Joh yeah that sounds about right. Curry's dribbling, while not as fancy as Kyrie's, is more efficient towards getting open looks or lanes.
@nostalgicbliss55478 жыл бұрын
+HPM Royale Kyrie plays more like a slasher, even though he has a great shot. He uses a lot of combinations that don't really get him anywhere sometimes, he reminds me of a soccer player called Neymar. Another skilled dribbler who uses flashy moves and combinations when one feint may have been more effective, curry dribbles more like Andres Iniesta, technically sound and just gliding across the court.
@litgod63708 жыл бұрын
+gcasillas1213 curry dribble is effective because guys are afraid of him shooting while kyrie is effective because he is always changing direction going one way then quickly faking to go another then to change direction again turning you around, while with curry your more afraid of not giving him open space so you react to any little fake he does.

@okinogardner20398 жыл бұрын
Some people always laugh when Steven A Smith talks about sports and generally don't stop and "listen" critically to what he says. On dec.25 he said that cheatcode curry will eventually have nobody to stop GSW if they dont knock them off the top this season. Now think about that for a second. The rules of the game have changed and he is in his PRIME while lbj prime years are fading away and duncan,parker, and ginobili on retirement block. Not to mention KD's decision over the offseason, now again, who will stop the GSW? This "point gaurd" can potentially become a (back to back) MVP and Champion while winning MIPA and scoring title? WTF!!! Thats crazy just thinking about it. What about a 3peat, 4,5 who knows really? We are witnessing greatness before our eyes. I'm a cavs-heat fan by the way.

I don't like the team cause they're all cocky as hell, but this mans too good to be mad at. Lebron fan here, but it's not even close right now. Stephs having arguably the best season in nba history
@alexjoh6828 жыл бұрын
Every great team is cocky as hell. You think those 90s Bulls teams weren't cocky as hell. What about the early 2000s Lakers teams or the 2010s Heat teams. I know the Spurs are very Lowkey but I bet they are all super cocky as well. It's almost a requirement to have a chip on your shoulder to be great. You have to have the confidence in yourself and your ability. It's what makes you different than all the others.
@bostonfan9718 жыл бұрын
I know your supposed to have confidence, but I don't remember the Heat being this cocky though, or even the Lakers in recent years. I got no problem with star players being cocky, they deserve to be, I just hate but I hate when the whole team acts that way
@litgod63708 жыл бұрын
+Alex Joh the heat werent this cocky budy we never talked about "we hope the thunders locker room smells like champaign or the spurs locker room" we didnt wine and complain when everyone tried to discredit our championship against the tunder saying it we only won because of a lockout. Even in games when lebron had 50 or 60 we werent jumping around laughing and dancing on court after every shot. After every 3 the warriors celebrate like its a game winner and talk alot after wins i didnt see the heat doing that or the spurs, the early lakers were similar but it was mostly from shaq kobe and some other guys. With the warriors its the entire team only player that doesnt run around like that is probly barbosa and barnes
@alexjoh6828 жыл бұрын
+bostonfan971 The only cocky ones on the team are Curry and Draymond, who by the way very much deserve to be. Klay and Harrison don't say anything. Bogut doesn't take shit from anyone, I mean I can see why you might hate him. But Shaun Livingston and Andre?
@alexjoh6828 жыл бұрын
+Lit God "Not one, not two, not three, not four, not five, not six, not seven". That's not cocky? They were a cocky bunch and they had every right to be. Well, nobody did try to discredit their championships did they? Nobody said that they had an easy road to a championship. This team has a chance to be one of the greatest of all time and people hate on them for being cocky? I doubt anybody said that about the 95-96 Bulls.

@Lilfellow258 жыл бұрын
+Natsu .D. Uzamaki I hope you know that when you get your ankles broke it isn't because of possession of the ball lol it's because of the body motion the offender does. Also depends if he's just trying to stay with him or get the ball which he was trying to do both. He got juked/crossed then curry went up with the ball and then kawhii jumped a bit then curry went under then side stepped him while kawhii was chasing him.
