What a beautiful story. The music is beautiful. The story is beautiful and peaceful and the rain ... I'm listening over and over. I "treat" myself with your sleep stories at the end of a long, stressful day. Do you realize how much you are helping us? It's hell to not be able to sleep. I've tried to stay awake to listen to the story but haven't been able to. So happy and grateful as I have stopped taking anti depressants and sleeping pills just to sleep. The mood you create in your stories also helps me to wake up peacefully and less anxious for the new day ahead.

Thank you Stephen for this amazing story, I have a 10 week old border terrier puppy called Maddie, every evening, we snuggle up and I get cozy with a hot drink, on the sofa, or under a warm blanket, whenever I place your stories on the TV, she surrenders to the sound of your voice and within minutes, falls deep into a peaceful puppy slumber and I too, feel peaceful, relaxed and content to face the day ahead. Good night everyone? I'm going to listen to the story with my dog Figaro . He is nicely tucked in hid bed and waits for the count down. He never lasts any longer than 7 and then I hear his sweet snoring. I wonder Stephen if you could write a story about a dog falling asleep while listening to your story. Wow. The timing of this story. 🥺 Dedicating it to the biggest, sweetest, fiercest, floofiest, cuddle boy that ever was. You left suddenly and tragically without warning 8 nights ago and I miss you so much it hurts Baxy. Life feels so empty without you in it. I wish you hadn't had to leave so soon. I only got to love you for a year and a half after you were rescued and our bond was so strong. We were just getting started. I had to let my beautiful little rescue dog Lulu go 8 days ago too. A kidney deficiency finally caught up with her. It was so hard to stay calm love and cuddle her and wish her all the love in the world for her new journey. She fell peacefully asleep. I feel deeply for you. Our little friends are so sadly missed. It's hard to accept that they have moved on.

My beautiful soul mate (dog) of 12 years recently passed after struggling to beat cancer for a third time in a year. He was the most happy resilient little Terrier you have ever met, Harry was his name. We had the most beautiful relationship you had ever seen between woman and animal, even the oncologist said, "in all my years in veterinary care I have never seen a more beautiful loving pure relationship between a dog and human." 🥹 What a beautiful compliment that was. The night when he passed he took more that just his last breath, he took me with him too 🥺 I'm not dealing with him gone very well at all and I want Harry's memory to live on, through stories. If you would be so kind to consider us (Charlotte and Harry) or him in one or as one of your stories Stephen, I would be *forever* indebted to you, it would genuinely make my entire life complete ❤️ Thanks for reading, and thank you for your beautiful work. 🕯️📖💤

I liked this story but my over thinking brain wanted to hear the dog had a rain coat on. Silly I know but I kept thinking while this lady is chatting in the rain, her wee dogs freezing & wanting home. My mind will conjure anything to stop sleep it seems. Your are my favourite though!
