It’s very sad to see his condition get worse and worse, Rest In Peace Stephen Hawking
@pantherzone2008
@pantherzone2008 Жыл бұрын
Indeed. His body is part of the research on how it became so long in life in that condition and it still puzzles scientists and doctors. Prior to Hawking’s death, he wanted doctors to care his deceased body for further research of his disease and his longevity without dying so early in life. It did made several breakthroughs, but further research needed to cure or extend ALS patients to longer lifespan. Scientists are currently trying to create a vaccine by obtaining his immune system and modify it to treat ALS patients into a cure. In the future, it should be available as a cure from Hawking’s immune system without any complications and risks of HIV.

The good news is, early onset ALS (which is what Hawking had) progresses more slowly. Doctors still aren't sure why. But the fact that it started early may well have prolonged his life (that two years the doctor gave him is about right in most cases)

Stephen had no hope for eternal life in Christ so he must say he isn’t afraid to die because there is no way of escaping it according to atheism. However, he had 76 years of life and studied his mind off but only to come to an end. Stephen knew that God was the cause of the universe, he just never wanted to admit it. I pray that these intelligent people follow the evidence where it leads and come to know Christ because we are not promised 76 years.

I find it incredible how he was basically completely paralyzed and could not move at all, and yet he still was able to accomplish so much and show others signs of his extreme intelligence. He is undeniably one of the greatest minds to have ever braced this Earth, and should be remembered for his ability to never stop smiling, and to always continue on with what little he could do with his body. He didn’t live by divine intervention, or religion, he lived by being fortunate enough to be surrounded by others who were just as kind as him, and he continued to live like this for over 25 years of his life. I think he is truly one of the most accomplished humans throughout modern history.

@@jonni8410 I don't think they were trying to make a joke about it, I can see where it might be a misunderstanding though.

The moral that people have their struggles emphasizes the importance of empathy, compassion, and understanding in our interactions with others. It reminds us that everyone faces challenges and hardships in life, even if those struggles may not be immediately apparent.By recognizing and acknowledging that people have their struggles, we can cultivate empathy and compassion towards others. We become more sensitive to the experiences and emotions of those around us, and we are more inclined to offer support, kindness, and understanding.This moral also encourages humility and perspective-taking. It reminds us that we are all imperfect and vulnerable, and that we should approach others with humility and grace, recognizing that we too have our own struggles and limitations.Ultimately, embracing the moral that people have their struggles promotes a more compassionate and supportive community where individuals feel understood, accepted, and valued for who they are, despite the challenges they may face.
