So was he keeping it real by coming on that show for reasonable employment and a footing all while speaking highly of "Unc" off air repeatedly as well as in one of the earlier episodes of All the Smoke when Shannon was a guest and he spoke very highly of them including appreciating the look and collaboration on TV at Undisputed? Help me out. Did he not like him then and just keep it to himself for the job, which is whatever, but also speak on wax regarding him repeatedly during and after that time? Was he lying for work and for the relationship businesswise going above and beyond for clout off tv? Is that keeping it real? Did he dislike him but have him on All the Smoke for what would it be? Clout?? What other reason would a man have someone on they dislike to their own coproduction? But even then, why fluff him up and whisper speak nothings on wax on air of your own show if its just for some professional clout or crossing Ts and dotting Is journalistically? To accept a position to have regular appearances on a person's television show and have them on your own show later, partially off the weight of that very look and opportunity all while disliking someone would speak very highly and flagrantly of the status afforded by association. No getting around it. Also for the record Barnes also made appearances on the show before he was with Rachael Nichols and crew at NBA Today when that was a thing, so All the Smoke itself, at least in part, came after, very near to, and arguably to some degree, particularly with Cap'n Jack, somewhat on the heels of from the look on Undisputed. If he disliked him, then that speaks oddly of Jackson to the say the least and very well of at the very least extreme deference to Shannon's standing to set that dislike aside. Now, what's actually most likely the case is that at some or multiple points since then he managed to foster ill will toward him despite all that preceeded it. So the real question is what would have been the cause of that? The answer is more than a little obviously the butt ugly green monster envy that possesses that big ol grown little boy behaving Cap'n Jack and the salt water that occupies his body and soul. He's a whole ass bag of sour cream and onion chips with a snack size bag of salt and vinegar. Straight up.
