When black folks disagree, we need to have civilized, insightful discussions. Not internet wars. If I disagree with a brotha/sista, I will come to them as a sista and present my reasons and listen to theirs. That's how we discuss things. That is how black people handle disagreements. We done picked up white practices and habits. They fight nasty. We grow intellectually. 🧠

@@areasonablethought610 And don't play dumb with the slavery comment. I never said anyone black living today was a slave, it's the mentality left over from slavery that still affects a lot of us. Sistah I’m with you 1000%. However I must keep it real, although it’s true that many white women wear weaves, we can’t tell because it’s in their own hair texture. I have no problem with Sistahs rocking weaves, but we’re now in a era that it’s available in our natural hair texture and we should have no shame embracing the kinky style. There’s strength, beauty, and power in Black hair, that’s why they’re afraid of accepting it and wants us to believe it’s ugly. Just something to consider. 💯❤️✌🏿💪🏿🙏🏿

@@maryland9612 They say, "you can't tell people what to do", but people tell people what to do all the time, i.e., people are told to wear a mask, but it's up to the individual to comply or not. While I do not tell people what to do, I do advise, encourage, might even persuade people to do what I think to be beneficial to themselves and others. As to my comments about outlawing weaves, I don't see anything wrong with that when I consider psychology behind black women wearing weaves, and what it actually means. Furthermore, many things/behaviours are outlawed in the interest of society or community, I looked and didn't have to look far to see no wrong in that.

It is never a mans place to come for a woman’s looks, attire or choices. This is especially true within the black community and the self hate is evident. Give them all that work. New supporter!

This is to be expected. When you call other ppl out then expect to be called out yourself. Period. That is the way it goes. I don't have any vested interest in any of you. And why ask other ppl to defend or co sign what either one of you says. Your critique is your opinion and the last thing we need is more of our ppl shoring up on a particular side against one another. Don't we have enough to worry about in thia country?

As far as the Roland Martin of the world, anybody who speaks out against the Demoncrats, oh boy he's going to really get upset. They must have been really good to him?

This is the VERY THING Cynthia G experiences and talks about. SMH!!! Instead of doing the intelligent thing by addressing and countering Cyn's talking points (WHICH THEY CAN'T), many BM try to attack her appearance by criticizing her hair and make up! Just proves her point!! Nevermind them Vicki! Our eyes don't lie! You and Cyn G are BEAUTIFUL Sisters!!! Peace Sis!

This is petty. Vicky is petty. Trying to disguise this like a bigger issue - when she has done the same petty calling out commenters - blk men AND women in videos cuz they disagree with her. I stopped following her in her social medias to avoid dumb divisive petty BS. She needs to keep this content on her own channels.

We have no one, fam. Anything concerning black women and their beauty is scrutinized no matter what we do and how many other races of women behave, keep or style themselves. Sad.

We definitely should stick together as one people but how do we do that?! Through the Word of the Most High. Consider these verses... 1 Peter 3, 1 Tim 2:8-10. We can only come together as one if we all believe what YAH commands. We are all lacking.

I would say 95 percent of the time, black men who talk about sistas hair are undercover homosexuals and jealous because you're doing what they wish they could do. The other 5 percent is just plain ignorance. Btw Vikki you handled this with dignity and class. Kudos to you! 👍🏿

You know a man is lame when he resorts to trash-talking and ad hominem in response to substantive criticism; and I wouldn't worry about their followership neither for they are just as shallow.
