My 5 favs of King are The Stand, The Shining, The Dead Zone, IT and Pet Sematary. I like the Gallery editions as well , but not the colorful ones, the ones that you have like Tommyknockers on the first shelf, but regular paperbacks. Have you read the Manitou series by Graham Masterton ? Great, short horror novels. I also enjoyed The Exorcist but it's a little extreme. Read that one later.

I've only ever read one book by King (blasphemous, I know!) but I recently bought It after seeing the movie and I'm really excited to start reading it. Wow, that is such an impressive collection!! Also, high five, you're the only person I know who also has 2 editions of IT (mine are a Dutch one and a UK one). I've not read most of Stephen King's books, but the ones I have read, I really liked. I've read IT, The Stand, Carrie and The Shining (I think that's all I've read, but I'm not sure without looking it up), and I quite liked all of those. I definitely plan to read more by Stephen King.

Surprised to see Heartsick by Chelsea Cain - I don't think I've come across anyone else who's read that book. I bought it in my teens when I was trying to read more adult fiction. I just have two SK books (Carrie and Different Seasons) because I love the films that were inspired by stories from those books.

Julia Sapphire I own all 4 novels in the series and at the time you asked this question I had not read any of them. Well thank you for the motivation to start on them instead of something else. I still need to read the last 2 but as for the first 2 I was very satisfied. Red Dragon was a good book and I would recommend it and I gave it 4 stars. Now The Silence of the Lambs :) well I couldn’t put it down!! Easy 5 stars and I have a mental list of favorites books of all time which is a very short list and I’m very happy to say The Silence of the Lambs is now in that list.
