Nevertheless, Bohr, was part of the Trinity Project and author of the Copenhagen Interpretation on Quantum Mechanics. So, there you have it...

Truly the scariest thing he's said. But if they're old enough to know his work then they should come to grips with reality. It's crazy how gullible kids are, maybe it's just because the ones they trust the most lie and they don't want to ruin the magic.
@alohipahoa-guzman41094 жыл бұрын
@@illestvillain1971 the magic that kids feel when they hear Santa has given them presents isn't just something the kids feel. It's an experience for the parents too ya know. It's a great feeling seeing tour childs face light up when they see the presents they got. I would also probably argue that most parents would agree that they get just as much joy out of it, if not more, just seeing their child believe in something magical like that. And besides, they're kids. Of course they're going to be naive, but you shouldn't shame them for that. Just let them be children while it lasts because when it's gone you regret it.

@illestvillain19714 жыл бұрын
@@alohipahoa-guzman4109 Ok. That's a little sad: "the only way kids can have an iota of joy is if you lie to them". I think it develops a good bond with your parents if they are the vendor of your happiness. Telling them a ridiculous lie is going overboard, and won't help with trust. Plus imo it stunts development. Kids are growing up way too slowly of late; it can't help tremendously that we baby them incessantly.

I love it, it’s my favorite King book, and now that I have already watched “Doctor Sleep “ and “Gerald’s game”, I hope that someday “Salem’s lot” will have a decent feature film adaptation directed by Mike Flanagan

6:29 Damn. King is just as savage in real life as he is on paper.

Many of these responses he has given to the same questions in countless interviews of the past...the part about Ronald McDonald was in an afterword (I don't remember which book); his capacity for memorization is insane to me.

I read King's book on the 2004 red sox season after watching or listening to every Sox game that season. What a fantastic year for Boston sports history, and I'm glad King (and me) got to see two or three more in his lifetime like he hoped. Here's to more!

stephen king was real about it when he said "most people usually go to a therapist for the stuff I write, I'm lucky" lol
@billyrichards88342 жыл бұрын
Don't put it OUT OF CONTEXT. He meant, that what people GO TO therapy for, he writes about.

Thank you Mr. King for your creative stories! I just watched the "IT" squeal recently and it was so good I think it's my favorite horror movie story as a whole right now.
