Sounds like a horror isekai. Also, reminds me of the DBZ Garlic Jr. OVA

Well it could very well be the same place lol Garlic Jr. never described having terrible visions of the future while he was there in the series but maybe he was just like the guy in Stephen King's book! Either way yeah it's an absolutely great story, and in my opinion, the movie with Christopher Walken, Tom Skerrit, and Martin Sheen is one of the best film adaptations of any Stephen King novel! Just thought you'd get a kick out of that :P thanks for the support next book! The next review will be on an amazing underrated book I don't hear many people talk about called Joyland too

You actually sold me on it with how many categories it includes and it not being *too* “scary”. I like scary fiction but I don't like needlessly gruesome fiction. Gore doesn't make it scarier to me, it just makes it gross, you know? And unfortunately those two tend to overlap quite a bit. Good review! Subscribed.
