My favorite story was Rattlesnakes by far! I thought some of the other stories were quite boring… or just too short for my taste. I prefer Stephen kings novels over his short story collections

I agree in some of them were too short. I love his novels too but I love Different Seasons, his collections of novellas. Also, Night Shift is my favorite collection of short stories by him.

Excellent book and great review. Regarding the Fifth Step: After 22+ years sober, I have yet to kill anyone. But I've pissed a lot of people off.
