Thank you for sharing, Mr. Stephen Krashen. Are you the one who is famous in TESOL field? (and visited UGA before. Then, we had dinner together). Or am I talking about your son? Anyway, I just learned so much from your talk. I also enjoyed reading the work of the author, Peter Elbow, at NYU. Again, thank you. 🤗

@@thedigestI'm studying my ELT Master, and we are getting exposed to a lot of information about teaching and methods of teaching..But the problem is that in such a master and in training programs for teachers in general, we are just memorizing methods and characteristics of methods without learning when to use the techniques and how and when to blend between them. Teachers apply the techniques like robots out of memorization and are not able to supply them in a way that really helps. How can we improve training programs for teachers to be able to help them to be more involved and understanding of what acquisition is about and to make their strategies in the classroom really serve students second language acquisition?!!! My name is Mohammad Tarboush and many thanks in advance....

He's hero to a lot of people. To think I referenced him so many times n my TESOL Master degree, only for a few years later to interview him, THREE TIMES, is incredible.
