Call it what you like but The Whiskey is an historic venue that's cherished by all rock musicians and fans. Motley and Def Leppard both had shows there recently and are currently the biggest draws from that era. Pearcy band regularly plays nice venues including many casinos, and larger clubs. Not "shit ass hole in the wall" clubs.

It was what metal was always suppose to be. Heavy metal is not for the general public. The music industry destroyed this genre. Hollywood knows nothing about heavy metal. It's beyond their frequency.

Not necessarily. He made his money. He's set for the rest of the night. Many bands from the clubs say that there is no intimacy playing arenas because the venues make the fans stay back away from the stage by 15 feet or so. Most arena bands say the prefer performing to a crowd when they're up front and right there by the stage. ... Believe it or not, emotionally, that is not the issue. It's only an issue if they don't have a $5 million to $20 million dollar checking account. If they're doing it to pay the monthly mortgage, you're right. If they're doing it for the pure love and joy of it, then it's not the issue for them that it appears to be on the surface. I get the spirit in your comment. No disrespect meant. Cheers!!
