Isn't it refreshing to hear a beautiful song about meaningful emotions that we all feel, not the degrading drivel that can be found nowadays.
@Astral_Incarnate2 жыл бұрын
There's loads of music jam packed full of emotions being created every day and for many that "degrading drivel" is that music. It's okay if you don't like it but you don't have to bring down other art to praise the art you enjoy. All art is good art if it makes someone happy
@superorangejuice12 жыл бұрын
@@Astral_Incarnate I agree with you there is plenty of good music and I may have been too general in saying "nowadays." I am however specifically talking about degrading music which by definition is undesirable. I appreciate this song a lot, not just because of my taste in liking it but because the content of this music is far more important for people (love, hope, awareness, despair, longing for someone) as these are deeply felt experiences within us. I also like that this is a man opening his heart up and admitting to that intense feeling of love which we need more of in people and it's not weak to want that as a man which is refreshing. Rather than artists portraying (sexualised lyrics, drugs, b****es, material things, money) these are very shallow and superficial themes in a song. Sure people can "enjoy" those songs, but I am criticising those types of songs due to their lack of substance and ultimately they bring themselves down as a form of "art", not just because I said so.

I stumbled onto this song recently on one of the singer’s short where he explained that he had to let Georgia go because of his family’s problems, and how Georgia was incredibly loving. So he couldn’t bring Georgia into that miserable life of his. This song resonates with me in every way I can imagine. I let my relationship of 4 years go regardless of how much I love her, because my family wouldn’t approve of her and wouldn’t welcome her. And to this day, I beat myself up about it for not “being man enough” to be able to marry whoever I want. Kate, if you see this by some chance, I’m so sorry and I wish you every happiness and love you deserved from me. And no, I don’t think I will love another girl the way I loved you. “Until I found you”.
