In reference to his guitar playing, my very appreciated son calls it, "Stills magic". I've been listening to Stephen for over 50 years, and I can't find a better way to describe it.

Stills is a man that's not afraid to show his inner self. His music is beautiful, tortured, soothing and revealing. He still makes me weep and still makes me feel joy and happiness.

What a find indeed, thanks Radiorock. My poor old Yamaha (1976) will have to come back out of hibernation! 🎸

Steven Stills at his best. Neil went on to far greater success, but Stills was a great song writer and musician, and remains so. That acoustic e-tuning, taught to him by Bruce Palmer if memory serves me well, became a signature sound for him. I still love his work. The tracks with David Crosby, rush rehearsed just before the gig, sound remarkably good. I learned how to play guitar listening to Stills, Young and Crosby, 4 Way Street.
