One of my teachers introduced his tape in 1992...it was the first time I was introduced to Gospel rap. Thanks, Mrs. Johnson. ❤

Stephen Riley set the tone for Christian rap. He released the first ever Gospel rap radio single titled "Bible Break" in 1985. Two years later came Michael Peace with his album "Rrrock it Right," followed by another SW single in 1988 with "Rappin for Jesus." It was 1990 when Wiley would release his first and only national album to Christian retailers. To my knowledge, he's still serving the Lord and preaching today.

Loved the production on this. It really helped me expand my christian view into different genres of music. I remember listening to it on my CD walkman!
