I also lost my dad suddenly when he was relatively young in his 50’s and I was in my late 20’s. I never grieved properly or shed a tear following his death until the arrival of this song over 15 years after his death. It has untapped a grief inside of me that I’ve kept bottled up all of this time, it’s been a weird, cathartic experience. Music is such a powerful thing and Stephen Wilson Jnr has a special gift. It's been 29 years since I lost my Dad at 16. I still cry about missing him. Hell I am right now. This song hits very hard, but in a good way. To the guy who said about his dad being an alcoholic...
