June 5th, 1994 I turned 18 and was invincible. July 22nd, 1994 the driver of an 18 wheeler ran a STOP sign and I crashed into it breaking my neck and becoming a quadriplegic, teaching me I was indeed, not invincible. Thank you for writing and singing such a great and meaningful song.

Dude is really good. I was 41 in 1994, so I come from an older view of that time, thinking about my little kids and such. 1994 I was 11 years old. I had no idea who Kurt Cobain was honestly, I learned music by picking a cassette tape on a store shelf, and usually one I could afford from doing chores. My life then was riding a bike, carrying around a stick, and playing matchbox cars in the dirt on hill front of my grandparents house. RIP to all those gone the 80s and 90s were hell of a time to be a kid! or to be alive, I love today, but nothing matches 80s and 90s it was a totally different time to be alive.

Hi Stephen, I was like many others a huge fan of Kurt's Cobain's music and always will be. In the year 1994 I was 33. It was the year Grunge died with Kurt to some degree. It is worth the memories as your song takes us back to those days. I am hearing the influence of the Boss in your voice, but it is still you singing. I am wondering if you ever listened to his Album, " Nebraska" ? I have the 33. I am betting you have heard it ? We could never have enough exceptionally talented and special Musician's such as yourself. You are the best at writing what is relevant, thoughful, and real to and for our time in history. That is such a gift. Thank you so very much Stephen for your awesome Music !! ❤ Best wishes from Steven in America's Dairyland Wi. !
