This is the first time since the 90s that I've been this excited about an artiste. He's gonna be a legend.

Let me just say that not only is Stephen a phenomenal singer/songwriter, he is a phenomenal human being. The guy takes the time to talk with his fans, and the appreciation that he shows is unmatched. We went to a show in Knoxville Tennessee and my 2 youngest were unable to make the show with me. What does he do? Makes a short video for them and says he can't wait to see them next time. Wow! Super genuine dude, and he deserves to be recognized as such. Much love, SWJ always!

Can't make it through this song without tearing up. Absolutely incredible. And now he's added that thunder sound on his foot pedal...some things are just too good
@stephenhubert92043 ай бұрын
Saw him supporting brothers Johnson in London a couple of years ago. Used the thunder effect to the point that it became tedious and detracted from the performance. However, this song is awesome

Been obsessed with him since finding him a few months ago. The best songwriter and performer I’ve seen in years and years. Also, having lost my Dad in recent years his album Father’s Son really resonated with me. I’d go as far as to say it’s been healing for me. It’s an absolute masterpiece of music. Can’t wait to see him in a London in a few weeks.

He's great! I'm getting Springsteen vibes. Love that he starts and ends with Nirvana and gives a nod to so many other "1994" artists/songs! Great song!

Wow. Fuck. Man, this guy! I've not been so hyped about an artist in ages!! His tone, his songs, the pure honesty in the stories told in the lyrics. If he continues on through the years, he is gonna be go on to be huge! Feels like we are witnessing a fresh Springsteen being unleashed for a new generation!

1994 was the year that I properly got into music so this song makes me feel incredibly nostalgic. Not only that but In Utero was the album that kick-started it all for me so the nod to All Apologies really got to me. Also, 1994, what a year for music - grunge, Britpop, trip-hop, it had it all.

This version is so much better than the album version. But I preferred Nebraska over born in the USA.

Agreed. This is the first time I’ve ever heard this song and it’s amazing here. No so amazing the studio one. Why do people over produce songs. There’s no feeling on the studio one. Only my opinion of course.

I much prefer his solo/acoustic performances to the album versions which sound very Nashville overproducwd IMO. Great songs tho

What pedal did he stomp on for that effect? 🤔
@JoeyLevenson3 ай бұрын
He overdrives his guitar slightly and then while he does that upstroke, he seems to switch reverb settings for a second to accentuate the change in rhythm. Otherwise he seems to use a reverb with a little tail to it. Signed an audio nerd;)
