Good to see you back posting I love your content because it’s so different, this is the kind of stuff I wish I’d see more from Good Good, the behind the scenes, daily blog style videos, traveling, hotels whatever really anything but golf. So I’m glad to be getting it from you. Quick note, I don’t know how deep you’ve gone into what it takes to make a manmade pond but it is not easy, it’s going to take like a thick ass waterproof barrier/EPDM pond liner, a layer of aeration crates/aquablox water matrix’s, some kind of moving water, drainage, pump housings, etc. if you don’t do all that stuff it’s going to be a muddy mess, the aeration isn’t enough, you have to have the barrier and the aquablox in my opinion.

First thing my dad did when he bought his property is build a spring fed well, and four ponds. Best decision ever. They are beautiful. A few are bait only ponds, and two have a lot of fish in them. Good luck with yours Steve!

Stephen, I loved the video. This was a really fun update! Just so you know, the dog you own is pronounced with a “B”, Doberman. To your point about the horse’s mask, yes, the horse can see you. It is a fly mask that prevents the flies from attacking their eyes. You always need to check the masks for hay because when the horses feed, it can poke right through and still hurt them.👍😊❤🐴

Brother, set your structure now before water gets in there with culvert pipes and massive branches anchored with cinder blocks. Lay a little bit of gravel down on the shallower parts of the pool and let the ecosystem happen. Your breeding fish will appreciate it and you potentially won't have to stock. You have bait fish populations, you have big fish. Just can't stock too many predators.

I sold my dirt bike 20 years ago when I started getting a little too comfortable flying through the air over a table top. I'm now 41 and can still walk and play golf. Not sure that would be the case if 21 year old me kept riding that dirt bike every weekend. My buddy busted on his YZ426F chasing a rabbit and his hip has never been the same.
