that rack is awesome. I had the Gobi rack on my FJ cruiser and would love one on the Element plus that hatch for the sun roof.

Yeah the Rack is so clean and cool 😎 it’s hard to believe he made it all himself! So impressive.

Aloha, I have a 2007 and love it! It’s my work horse. what seat covers are those? Mine are starting to wear out a little.
@StephenAldaco2 жыл бұрын
It’s so common for the seats to tear on these things! The OEM covers are the best that I have found. They are usually tan in color but are absolutely perfect.

Nice rack! The ability to hold a human up top is a great design consideration

It's a mafia consideration. You don't want the body INSIDE when driving out to the desert 🏜️

Hope his fridge has enough room for proper airflow.
@StephenAldaco2 жыл бұрын
Yeah knowing Stephen I’m sure he’s thought of it
@Element.Society2 жыл бұрын
Good point! I did take that into consideration. I did not mention during the interview that the camper box has no "backside" so each cubby has a full passthrough to the front seats for fridge airflow or longer items (skis, snowboards, lumber, etc.)

About to buy an element ♉ - current ride is crap mpg & suffering constant little repair issues. 🚗 🔥 My plan is a 3 fold mattress, cut to 60% width, on a hinged platform that would become a "bouch" (bed/couch 🛏️/🛋️). The back 1/3 tilts up for lean back. Middle stays down but is hinged on solid cross support. Similar to previous rudimentary vehicle builds my head 🗣️will be nearest the back of the vehicle. So the last 1/3 portion behind the seats will support my feet 🐾. Ideally this will be removable (drop in hinge) to allow me to sit on my lounge area during the day & have access via the passenger suicide door 🚪. The opposite 40% width on drive side will be a vertical shelf storage system for daily access stuff. Directly behind the driver area will be plug 🔌 in cooler & crate for food (and dog 🐕 food bowl 🥣) Will reduce the amount of crap I travel 🧳 with and fully utilize what I DO bring.

Sounds like a great build out my friend good luck! It’s similar to the new build that I have which has yet to be posted yet on the channel! I hope you find an element that is going to treat you right for your adventures in the element! If you have any questions please let us know happy to help!
