Shannon is spot on about respect and not being a slave to loyalty. One of the most impactful things my dad has ever said to me is that “you teach people how they’re allowed to treat you.” Shannon did the right thing by asserting that he wouldn’t allow himself to be disrespected like that and that while he’s thankful for the opportunity he received that it doesn’t justify being disrespected. Just because someone provides you an opportunity doesn’t give them the right to treat you poorly and that you are required to allow it to happen because of that opportunity. Yes Skip was solid to provide the opportunity but anybody thinking Shannon owed him reverence in everything need to recognize that Shannon lasted seven years on that show because once the opportunity was there he had to carry the water in his spot on the show. If shannon hadn’t been pulling his weight that opportunity would’ve been gone just as quickly as it came but because he excelled he was on the show for a long time. And I respect that he didn’t shy away and take disrespect laying down but brought it up even if it ended the show. And I’m doubly happy to see him quickly pivot to other opportunities and I hope he gets to anchor his own network show someday. Even discussing this he remained respectful to Skip when he could’ve dumped all over him. Kudos Shannon
@optimusmike8680 Жыл бұрын
Bruh u wrong af, Shannon was never “ slave “ let’s be real, if he wanted to treated better, he could’ve talked with skip outside of work an actually had a relationship with him, if u did maybe then he’d understand that people in a relationship fight, they get disrespected, it is right that it happens no, but it dose, it’s never not gonna be a possibility of happening when ur involved doing something with someone be it business or dating, Shannon really just shows his true colors here, the man is sensitive sorry not sorry ! He should get some professional therapy help if someone’s comments about him bothers him that bad to the core, cause I’d hate to see what’d he’d be like being in a person with a disability’s shoes like someone like myself who’s dealt with those comments since I was little af an didn’t even know what I had as far as my disability!

This is a master class about a very underrepresented virtue in life called forgiveness. It's not forgetting the past or misremembering the past as something that it's not. @@caleb484None of what you said excuses Stephen's treatment of Max. What are you even saying? You think its ok to treat someone like shit for months as long as they get another show after? Shannon chose to leave. He wasn't fired like max.

This is weird. Why are they still talking about this? We get it. The relationship ran its course. There is no way Steven considers Skip as much of a brother as he says. This is sad.

Lol SAS used Shanon so people start another drama and stop talking about him vs Max and TO. What a weasel lol! Dear Shannon, SAS was playing 4D chess with you while you were thinking playing checkers with a friend. I hope that now you know 1 SAS is not your friend 2 He ended you relationship with Skip with that interview 3 He’s still a friend with Skip because he’s smarter than you obviously.
