I am Pro-Trump, pro-cop, pro-American. I may not agree with everything Mr. Stephen Smith says, but he is on target here. This man was and inmate and serving the time that the justice system handed down. This heinous action was essentially people that were granted the power of the state executing a death sentence and engaging in torture. This is a misarrange of justice both to the deceased and to the people for not bringing charges against all involved.

This debate concluded with the proposition, Supplement where Americans citizens cannot fill the need through the visa's, but make sure you don't harm Americans in the process. Also, MAGA is NOT anti-immigration, its anti ILLEGAL immigration... Becoming an American isn't merely crossing a river, its a state of mind which takes time and desire.

Exactly. Tech has been laying people off like crazy over the last two years, and now they want to import workers? They want cheap labor, it's that simple.
@jonathanyee27842 күн бұрын
nah. H1B is for people with special skills. Act like Americas are good at math. We lack STEM. Foreigner's work ethics and appreciation of USA is much higher than Americans. Tech Companies often pay ALOT for these H1B workers. Its the sponsor companies like infosys that take a fat cut and pay the H1B immigrants nothing. THey're pretty much their owners. WE NEED these H1B talent. Cheap labor is some other issue. Dont think its what Musk/Vivek talking about
@Tii123192 күн бұрын
@jspres86 You are correct. The visa allows them to pay those employees less and the employers that like to exploit employees hours and #of days worked. Some of the owners expect 7 days a week. It's a terrible way to use people, like has been done in gem stone mines, for example.
@deadlyninjafish2 күн бұрын
It's more motivation than cost. These foreigners are skilled and expensive in most cases, but they're already thousands of miles from home so they'll travel as much as required to different job sites, and they'll work whatever hours are required because they don't have family holding them down nearby. That's the biggest difference between the US workers and the H1B workers. I work in the industry and the American guys don't wanna travel, don't wanna work holidays, don't wanna work long hours. Those foreign guys will do all those things.

The issue with the H-1B Visa issue is how they are constructed. Those foreign workers are getting paid less and are completely at the mercy of their employers, basically indentured servants. If they get fired they will have to leave the US. Plus, there are thousands of capable US tech workers and engineers struggling to find work thanks to the massive layoffs taking place over the last few years. Broligarchs like Musk and Vivek are only antiimmigration unti it effects their bottom line.

The problem with what Musk said is that we are not bringing in the top 0.1%. We are bringing in people who will work for less than American engineers. Plus, since they are on a H1B visa, they can't quit, complain, and uninionize because if they do, the company will fire them, and there goes their visa unless they find another company to sponsor them. They are the perfect employees because they will do what you tell them, work for less, and won't complain out of fear. In regards to what Vivek said, it's funny that his boss, President Trump, wasn't Erkel or Screech in High school yet he is president and Vivek isn't. When you look at sports athletes, none of them were the nerds in HS either. So its funny to put down a culture that has some of the greatest sports athletes, musicians, movie stars, and engineers that built trillion-dollar companies, who all grew up during this time Vivek said American was dumbing down their kids. He should just admit he wants cheap labor and wants to import more of his people. The more of them there are, the more power he will have because they will see him as a leader for his future ambitions.

That was a very mask off moment. He was the nerd in HS, it was probably rough. He has disdain for American culture. IMHO and anecdotal experience, many first generation folks like himself lack the deep appreciation and understanding of American culture and values because they were neither raised in it nor did their parents go through any of the struggles that validated our culture and values. We have failed them.

I love the Jimmy Carter tribute SAS!! He wasn’t known as a great president……but he was known as a great man, a man of strong faith!! 🥹🥹 He did a lot for the global world and the less unfortunate at home!! May he R.I.P. !!

Tim Tebow!!!! Literally NO ONE thought he could be an NFL QB. Took all of 5 seconds to think of that answer. Second one was Doug Flutie. Too small. (5'10" 180 lbs) The only reason anyone cared to look at him was the hail mary against Miami. He had to go to Canada to get a decent shot.

I remember the hail Mary throw like it was yesterday.

Julian Edelman… Stephen A and the rest of them at espn love to play the black victim card… it’s enough cringe to kill a healthy person 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️

Tim Tebow was bad bro. 12tds and 6 picks in the one season you thought was worth remembering

@@robertthompson9643 Stephen A and Ryan Clark love to race bait. Tebow and Edelman are both good examples, and if we sit here long enough thinking about it we could come up with more. Idk why everyone at espn as the sole goal, of seeing who can play the race victim better. It’s cringy asf and on top of that all it does it put your own people down! It isn’t building anyone up. It makes you look weak! But then again it’s espn and all the woke crap that comes out of that place

You hit a million followers. Your new insite and exposing truth is refreshing. I'm a huge sports fan and enjoy your commentary immensely. I am a MAGA republican (Unitarian I guess it's called) but not blind. I hope Trump succeeds and America returns to normalcy. Thank you again and look forward to being a real fan of yours whether we agree on everything or not. That's why America is the best nation in earth. Seeking truth and expelling lies...... Making us great again!!!!

Taysom Hill. Was a qb in college and is now a TE. He did not receive the same amount of public scrutiny that Lamar received.

Taysom hill was a UDFA not a first rounder. He switched to TE because it gave him the best opportunity to play...

I disagree that there aren't enough talented American engineers. They just want people from outside the US because they are from outside the US. They are getting a much needed lesson.
@ifeanyinnabuife66592 күн бұрын
I think we should try and verify how many Americans are in STEM program. I am in IT and not much of the supply skill sets needed to do the job is available. It hurts to see that we Americans first approach the warning they are putting out there without asking lets verify how many Engineers are in the field compare to the positions. Mind what they send is people that are innovative.
