Hey Stephen, I appreciate the regular ubass content. I think I'm going to try practicing these notes tomorrow when I play. Your videos helped me pick an instrument, decide on which strings to put on my u-bass, and help me break up my usual practice from the Hal Leonard books. Thanks for making these videos.

Is the U bass tuned like an electric?

Yes it is! E-A-D-G all the way.

@@brendamartin9178 Indeed! It's pretty much the same idea, but you have to alter your playing for the shorter scale and different string types. Frets and pitches are the same.

You should link your Patreon page in your descriptions under your videos. I like yoir content and plan on getting a U-baas next week.

I wanna buy someone really close to me a U-bass (cuz i play bass, they play ukulele, and I want them to have something to remind them of me cuz I’m gonna be moving soon.) So a U-bass seems perfect, and if she wants to learn bass, thats even better cuz she can learn on that while being comfortable with the size. Are there any U-basses you’d suggest I should get her?

Sorry for the late reply! On the cheaper side: the Kala Wanderer...on the nicer side: the Ebony model is really cool!
