You can’t play in midfield with low football iq, it’s not possible regardless of attributes. Garnacho is still only 20, he has played really well in the past. Ok hes not been that effective recently but hes still really young and has had to adapt to a constant manager merry go round whilst trying to learn the game, plus there are signs hes on the way back up under Amorim. Whist hes not untouchable and therefor has a price, that price should be dictated by us not what Napoli want to pay. This isnt a player we want to be rid off and can low balled. We should be saying £65m is the bear minimum there will be no negotiation below that

The number of points you could be deducted for PSR breaches is not fixed. They might consider the number of points to be deducted based on the that season's table, so prevent intentional breaches. Considering there is a £3.1 Million difference between each position on the Premiership table, intentional breaches could be very expensive.

We’re too light in the front line. If both Rashford and Garnacho go, we’ll be left with Zirkzee, Mount, Bruno, Amad and Antony for the 10 position. Out of those you can only rely on Amad and Fernandes to perform in those positions, one injury to either and we’re in trouble. Would be different if we had other youth players ready to break through, but we don’t at the moment. At 20 it’s surely better to keep hold of Garna. He has room to improve but still produces goals.

I like Garnacho but he hasn't been great this season and doesn't seem likely to adapt to Amorim's system any time soon. Based on fees paid for players of a similar age and level of potential, he's worth more than £40m but I'd be willing to let him go for £60m so long as we can buy players we actually need. But like Ste says, if we're looking to sell and not buy, we'll end up with no players so I'd want to keep him.

Steve mate I've been part of the community for a while now, from the other channel!! I agree with most of your points generally speaking but there are the odd times.... We have the biggest debt in world football and have been run into the ground by the glazers. Did you expect ratcliffe to come in and wave a magic wand and everything goes back to 20 yrs ago? There has to be cuts and increases. We have to stop throwing money away, paying silly fees for sub standard players. This is what ratcliffe is doing stopping fergies payments, making people not needed in the business redundant and so on. Of course it should cost more to watch utd than it does to watch fulham. Utd are biggest club in the world remember? Many people out of England don't even know fulham exists by comparisson. Let's be seriously honest rash and nacho are not going to be missed that much. 1 has a decent season every 2/3 years The other isn't really that good tbh (what is he good at)? Granted he knows how to score but every other aspect of his game is poor.

I wouldn’t sell him, not right now at least need to see if he can shine in Amorim’s system and adapt to it. He needs another year maybe 2 then sell him if he doesn’t fit. He’s 20 in 2 years time he’s 22 still ridiculously young.

Amorin at Sporting was really good at bringing academy players on and finding "cheap" signings that fitted his system. I trust him to do the right things. Problem is the club is hamstrung and these decisions aren't really his. Tough job. Still trust him to make it right eventually. If he stays?

We've recently took the game to City, Scousers and Arsenal. We need maybe one Cantona blind side striker and that's it. We have a great squad and if you don't like it, do one. Wanting to sell our own players is beyond dumb.

If we can sell players and reinvest i dont have a problem with it. The onky untouchable players for me right now that i wouldn't sell are Onana, Mazraoui, De Ligt, Martinez, Ugarte, Mainoo and Bruno. I could even be persuaded to sell Martinez because of his injuries.

60m for him would be amazing for United. He'll do well at Napoli and we can finally start to build United properly and sustainably. We got him for peanuts and he wasn't a kid. He's not a United fan and he's not one of ours like Mainoo in reality. He came only about 3-4 years ago. Poorly run is when you keep him and let him walk away on a free at 25.

I'm all for the sale as long as there's a replacement lined up. He doesn't seem to be a player Amorim particularly fancies and he left him out of the squad with Rashford due to his attitude or behaviour. It's not ideal but we all know we need funds to buy the specialist players we need right now or we're not getting anywhere. He'll do well elsewhere but he's not what WE need right now to get better and Ruben doesn't have time to wait for him to turn into the player he needs him to be. I've seen people rewriting history saying "United never used to sell it's young stars!". Right, well I must have imagined Fergie selling Pogba along with almost that whole generation of academy players, many of which were better than Garnacho. There is nothing wrong with cashing in on assets if they're not part of your immediate plans and investing the money where it's needed. I think Garnacho is a decent player but don't really see the elite talent some fans are claiming he is. He's been a bit of a bright spark in a terrible team. Why aren't Madrid, Barca, PSG, Bayern etc swooping in to get this generational talent? Because he's good, but not 'that' good and they've already got better.

In short, a player is only able to contact another club to try and agree a transfer if they have the written consent of their current club first. As long as the player has the written consent of the club, they are able to agree personal terms, even if no official fee has yet been confirmed. Selling garnacho would be a mistake he scores and assists just because he was dropped with rashford who should leave but garna has got his head down and has worked his way back I can see him becoming a star at Napoli and once again it would be another transfer mistake for us unfortunately

I vote keep Garnacho for now. We should sell him but not yet…. Let him hit 24-26 and achieve his potential and sell him for big money in the summer window to a Real Madrid. He could be a 100m+ player. Selling him now just feels rushed. Not to mention we’d have to turn around and reinvest the 50-60mil in a direct replacement, unless Shea Lacey or Ibragimov or Biancheri have already been earmarked as replacements.

I don't see Garnacho playing in a possession-rich team who play in the oppositions' third. That being said, I think there are at least 4-5 players you'd rather get rid of. Nico Williams would be a good left-sider IMO but at what cost....

Clearly the money has dried up. The players we could sell are now worthless due to age or being massively overpriced. The signs are there to see tickets price hikes lay offs and lack of transfer activities. I don't see a new or improved stadium anytime soon. We are trading at neutral for the last six months and things are not set to improve much for the foreseeable future. Being out of the champions league and out of top ten for now two seasons has affected our ability to stay inside spending guidelines. Manchester United face challenges both financially and with rebuilding the team. Dreams of top strikers and buying your way to the top are not a possibility for United. I see a conveyor belt of young untested talent and some astute scouting.
