Thanks Stephen and Bicycle Network for a great event and weekend. Was definitely worth being part of this camp to get a better idea of what Peaks Challenge is going to be, and also learning from you, as well as other ride leaders about how to be fully prepared for the big day.

Thanks Stephen for this amazing weekend. I have been following yours videos for while, but after seeing you climbing these hills with pretty much no effort. On top of that, doing Hotham twice in one row and after 2 days on climbing those hills, I was very impressed and certainly that you definitely knows what you're talking about. Great to meet you and learning from you.

Thanks Stephen for the video. Just one question, do the sub8 and sub9 hour groups depart at the same time? I’m aiming for sub9 but dreaming of sub8 if I’m feeling strong on the day. Cheers.

I believe the 8 hour riders go off first and the 9 hour leaders go off at the tail of the front group. Starting with the 8 is fine and holding that pace if you can but if dropping off you will most certainly pick up many riders that are caught between the 8 and 9 groups.

Stephen - one aspect that I think you have never mentioned in any of your vlogs. What are your thoughts on carrying your mobile phone on the 3 Peaks ride.
