I recommend filling up a couple of insulated bidons, freeze them cold overnight and bag them with an insulated pouch in your valet pack for either Omeo or DP - (hopefully they are still semi frozen by the time you collect them). If you unlucky enough to end up riding in very warm/hot conditions in that area, the chilled water would make the suffering just that little bit less painful… always check the weather forecast leading into the event to plan for your hydration/clothing

100% agree, have done this every time - an ice-cold 250ml bottle of coke at Harrietville is an absolute life saver (can jam it in your pocket and go)

Cheers Doc. Can you do a video on the various rest stops and the amenities at each? Ex: toilets, type of nutrition available, special needs bags, mechanics ,etc
