rooster fish is truly beautiful, it's a shame you can't find it here... do you fish it with a shorejigging rod or is it a popping rod? do they only eat afloat or also in other ways? I noticed that you never do stop & go recoveries (a few questions :-D)

Usually it does, maybe just down scale the tackle a little bit so you can have a better chance of hooking up to something and know what you are targeting. And it doesn’t hurt to watch or talk with the locals to know what is biting. I’m not share but I think there are GT’s and queenies in the Arabian Sea. Tight lines!

@@VicProllandSurfCastersMx es correcto Vic, a veces no es justo mostrarles no mas los mejores dias de una temporada. Tambien pasamos por muchísimos dias sin éxito. La marea, corrientes, carnada y preservación de la especie tiene mucho que ver. Saludos y buena pesca!

usando señuelos es en mi opinion mucho mas emocionante, sobre todo superficiales. no siempre son las capturas las que hacen excelente un dia de pesca, a veces es la compañia, a veces hay ataques fallidos muy emocionantes y por lo general el solo hecho de pararte frente al mar a intentarlo y sentir lo que se siente hace que valga la pena.

where do you recommend going around San Jose del Cabo? Bought one of your lures and went around the jetties of la Playita and got snagged on the rocks at high tide some how. It just got caught or something as i was reeling (was fishing at the black sand beach area just on the other side of the jetty next to the fillet tables). Greetings.

muchas gracias!! Si, uso fluoro de 50libras desde la playa y 60 o 80 en las piedras. La caña es de acción rápida , la Baja Beach heavy es de 3 a 6oz y la Baja Beach normal es de 2-4 Saludos!

This beach is hard to get to, there are other beaches that will have more fishermen on it but our beaches stretch for 100's of miles. If you are willing to travel, you can get away from the crowds.

@@StephenJansen1 My biggest rooster was over 50. On a Ranger. Pretty much all I would use back in the day. In the 80's and 90's I also threw a lot of really unconventional stuff. Bass gear, I used large musky crankbaits and swimbaits-- crazy looking baits, biggest lures I could find, short of billsfish stuff that would swim. I literally caught all those fish you catch in your vids, at a lot of those same places, on super weird stuff. Now all you gotta do is go to your website or your store. Crazy. I love it.

Great job. How many total did you both do for the day? Any of those other folks getting them? I look forward to your videos so much. Too far and few between but well worth it. Keep them coming. You've motivated me to fish plugs and spoons in our surf in FL. Nothing that grand yet, lots of blues and mackerel. Waiting for a big snook or tarpon. Our mullet run is coming soon....

Well, when I got there my buddy Martin had already caught 3, we both landed 4 or 5, not sure but we lost a few to. that was an epic day, little did we know that was only the beginning........ we had some crazy days, if we aired all fish people would be saying we are cheating. had some of the best action in my 20 plus years here. stay tuned for the next video!!! It takes a lot to shoot, edit, pick music etc, especially because I'm slammed at work. I'd love to fish the mullet run in FL sometime.

Entre mas rapido mejor, yo uso el Shimano Twinpower 14000 y el Stella 14000, También los Daiwa's BG y Saltists tienen buena recuperación Saludos y buena pesca!
