OMG, I never stay up for anything, not even new years, but when I saw this, there is no closing my eyes till I’ve heard this. You inspired me to read the story, which, in truth, I had never heard of till your channel. Now I’m completely captivated at how you will complete the story. Thank you for introducing so many new stories from King to my universe! “Do you remember that time when Tracy was listening to the Stephen King book club…”? The story continues!

"...and he's panting like a little boy trapped inside a Pinto..." I love all the references to other books you manage to sprinkle into this rendition of the story with descriptions like this and the commercials and pictures. Doing this from a broadcaster POV is brilliant!...esp with the broadcaster being in sync with the views of the government here.

HERE WE GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! i'm so PSYCHED. the Olson Bit (you KNOW the one) is something i've been looking forward to and dreading in equal measure. with each episode, we get closer. also the way you focus on Harkness' body in this episode is really heartbreaking. it's the casual observance of someone who doesn't QUITE see the boys as human, but despite that detachment, there's a strong sense of... well, the broadcaster may have been rooting for Harkness just a little bit. not many others have gotten this much focus.

(No spoilers as to what those scenes are... yet.) Since you quoted "The Wizard of Oz", I will conclude with a quote from "The Wiz" as encouragement to the guy I bet on. Pick your left foot up When your right foot's down Come on legs keep movin' Don't you lose no ground You just keep on keepin' On the road that you choose Don't you give up walkin' 'Cause you gave up shoes, Ease on down, ease on down the road GO GO GARRATY!

As 'meh' as those rations are, I'll give them this: They're packed with protein, at least. Protein helps build muscle, and it keeps you feeling fuller for longer. So, not a bad choice, all things considered. Am I the only one who fearfully thinks that if Stillson were real, and this campaign aired, he'd get votes? *shudders* Also, that I-HOP insertion right after the poor boy's legs get crushed shouldn't have made me laugh, but it did XD Awesome video as always, and an amazing continuation of "The Long Walk"! I can't wait until the whole thing's completed so I can binge-watch them any time I like :) Thanks for creating such incredible content for us Stephen King fans!

The Battle Royale, a 2000 Japanese R rated movie, is even worse than the PG-13 Hunger Games. In this, the students of a classroom are forced to be on an island and only one can get out alive. Is there is more than one at the end, all are killed. And this is not the first time it happens, but it is keep as a secret.

Yeah, some of the details are bits of fan fiction... The book will sometimes say Garraty heard a shot and a ticket was punched, and so this is my attempt at bringing a dystopian sports broadcast to the overall walk... However, that brutal death where the kids feet and legs are run-over by the half-track, that IS in the book!
