Wow.It sounds so classical and well. It's so close to a cane reed. I have tested some synthetic reeds but never used them. I am looking forward to test the Venn reed this week for a gig at the weekend.........🍃

Sounds really good! I've always been a huge fan of the Legere signature reeds for lower voices but I feel like their alto reeds fall short. Would love to see you do a side by side comparison of both!

Through laptop speakers, tone sounds as lovely as I would expect from you. What I'm more curious about is the response, particularly for pieces with a lot of articulation. Any comments? Thanks also for the outdoor footage, which is quite remarkable.

Will do! I dont think it will change too much over time, but I did feel like it 'warmed-up' after a few minutes of playing.

You thought you could get away from it when you left Iowa, but NOOOOOOOOOO... Also, cat not knowing what to make of Dahl. :) As for the reed, it definitely sounds good in a live space like the one you played in, but I'd also like to hear an example in a dead room.

I wasn't thrilled with the strength offerings. They say the Venn 2.5 is close to a 3, but mine felt harder than a 3. And the only thing softer goes down to 2, which I've also tried. Good luck with the snow - from WI
