Anytime Stephen encounters the Waterwraith, I always get some sort of burning satisfaction to see all of his Pikmin get steamrolled lmao.

So weird thing about this stage: the Anode Beetles and Wollywogs and all them will only come down off the ceiling when a Purple Pikmin lands on the ground near when they come in. I believe this is the only occurrence of that specific scenario. In addition, the Waterwraiths will ALWAYS come down when the clock hits 270

Nope that's how they always are. They both seem to have a very short memory, I mean I haven't played this game roughly two years and I remember things they don't. Though I have beaten it several times since its release.

Actually, Stephen, keeping the gates in Bully Den intact is one of the best ways of clearing the level with no deaths. Since the wraiths can't get through, you can divide and conquer so you don't have to fight both.

You didn't have everything because some enemies drop when the purples are thrown and land. That's where the frog came from!

5:30 Huh, you can see the geyser while it's underground. That's a weird glitch.

I don't think it is a glitch.. I don't know for certain but it seems that the geysers are stored underground so when the time for it to appear arises the game just raises the model up. A similar thing happens with the gates to where the model is just brought down and non of it actually disapears until the gate is completley destroyed.

ThisIsWhatIUseToComment Well yeah that is how it's done most likely, the glitch itself though is being able to see the geyser before it comes up.

spoofsrocks13 I still don’t quite think it’s a glitch though. It’s most likely just stored there out of the way but you can see it because you can see under the edges of the stage. I don’t have to game to test my theory or the proper way of testing it but there is probably something online about it somewhere

Maybe you had to through the purple pikmin and see if something would fall from the ceiling to get the rest of the treasures. I mean both times when something fell down it was when you where throwing the purple pikmin. Just a thought.

6:10 If it’s a dead end then they can’t go because they can’t go into little spots or dead ends. Edit:Never mind, but in the real game (story mode) they can’t go into little spots because then he couldn’t turn around. Also there weren’t any dead ends in the real game, (story mode) unlike how u encountered in the challenge mode.

Scott Rappo, Stephen actually has used his sprays a lot in the past. They just don't help during the Waterwraith fight because they don't quite work as expected when fighting Waterwraiths.

The spicy spray is effective on the all bosses and especially water wraith, but not the bitter spray which stephen used. I've watched all these challenge videos and stephen rarely uses his sprays properly if at all. I get saving them for the boss, but not using them here made no sense.

They're playing this blind but it is very annoying watching them being frankly oblivious to some pretty obvious clues the game gives you on bosses and such.
