Happy re-birthday to Hayley! These get-togethers always look like so much fun, and she's always a big part of that. I hope this one was exactly what she wanted. 😊

At 9:50-ish when they started the "aaaaaaaaaaaa" I was NOT expecting it to turn into the "happy birthday" song 'cause it was VERY off-key 😂 Thank you for proving me wrong. I thought it was gonna be a cult chant or something. You know. 'Cause the Raleigh -cult- collective. Ahem.

Maybe it used to be dry, but the dry got scraped off. 🤔

"it's pretty good but it's a texture you've never experienced." Honestly, that sales pitch would make me buy a slice of that just to try.

Haley's cake makes it seem like it's an insane cake, but my family made similar cakes like that all the time and I don't find it weird or extreme in the slightest lmao.

In alternative title news…”The scientific definition of stew” And yes! p.s. I still like rewatching this as a method of not stewing over recipes or life stress. Also of course “A texture that you’ve never experienced “ is a contender in my eyes! ❤ Anyway Happy Birthday Birthday Happy! I loved the tie die and cooking and thrifting content! Nice to see you guys enjoying friendships and having fun as a group! I hope Chaz and Jeff/Geoff Jef? !! (I still don’t know/can’t spell) both felt better after this! This video often makes me feel kinda better, so I hope the people who’s experiences these actually are and were are actually also really all good and happy in whatever is happening in their lives directly right now :-) ❤

I just went to First Watch today cuz I was inspired by this video. I couldn't find the definitely sweet drink that Josh had but I did get the biscuits and turkey sausage gravy! Very tasty. 10/10

I've had a jello cake many times, but never mixed with soda or layered. That's diabetes in a pan right there. I want it.

That is the most American post WW2 recipie I’ve ever heard… It sounds WILD! ..and I grew up with gelatine desserts being a relatively normal thing and a grandfather collecting canned food in the celler “just in case” 😂

The way I understand it, there really isn't any defining traits between soup and stew. After all, cooking is more art than science. I personally believe the main thing is intent. Though personally, I've never had a stew that was the full meal, it's always served with either rice or potatoes. The only thing I can say for certain is that a stew has to have, for lack of a better term, chunks. If it's homogeneous, it's soup. Or potentially a sauce.

I also say cooking is an art! Baking is a science! This works great for my fiance and i because he's very arty and creative and loves cooking. I'm very logical and methodical and love baking!
