Kawhi, Murray and White started out as mediocre 3pt shooters on the Spurs. If there is a team that can develop his weaknesses, it’s the Spurs. But damn the Spurs got a player that plays defense like his life depended on it. By the way, Castle said he patterned his game after Jrue. There is also a huge difference being a primary facilitator in HS being playing off ball in college. Worth noting too that he started his lone college year injured so it took time for him to get going. Plus in a loaded UConn team he was hesitant shooting the ball at times knowing they have seniors that shoots it better than him. The Spurs said they’ve been scouting Castle since HS so they know what he can do at the point. I am pretty sure they will give him reps at 1 and take a chance on him developing into a good PG. If they gave Sochan a chance at it, they will surely give Castle all the chances he needs to play the position he wants.
