😂 defense creates offense, Castle is the ideal counter to big guards like Luka, SGA, Booker, Ant, Murray, etc. Teams wont be able to score on SA, Wemby+Sochan instantly become better defensively, their starting lineup's defense is gonna be air tight.

He found his shot near the end of the year, went from 60% at FT to bear 90% at the end of the season, 3PT% and mid range % was above 35% near the end of the season, incredible defender, and was a PG out of high school. He might have been the third ball handler, but as someone who watched all UConn games, a lot of their motions started with him.

He gonna be nice but I think they fucked up taking Castle > Dillingham. Dillingham has much better handles and he would fit the team better by becoming a shifty ball handler facilitator to get the ball down low to Wemby. We seen it at UK where he had no problem getting the ball to his playmakers, he didnt even mind coming off the bench which shows hes very unselfish and willing to do whatever is necessary to help his team get the dub. Castle is a better scorer but they really dont need that. Wemby is the face of the franchise and is going to be their lead scorer no matter what. Hes also good enough for the coaches/GMs to listen to him and do whatever he says that he wants the spurs to do as far as who he wants and doesnt want on his team. Wemby and Ant Edwards are the 2 future faces of the league.

The Spurs are still living off Duncan-Manu-Parker. They haven’t developed players in years. That’s why they’re here. Chip doesn’t work there anymore. They can’t shoot & their idiot GM doesn’t seem to understand that’s important, especially when you need to create floor spacing for Wemby. To make the Castle pick work, they needed Dillingham & they made the dumbest trade possible. Instead, the Spurs continue to build a roster that seems aimless outside of Wemby, who now seems destined to be the NBA’s Mike Trout. & I know they’ll continue to say, but we have so many picks, but the reality is they aren’t willing to package them to surround Wemby with talent & when they do get to those picks, they either punt them like they did w/ #8 or they use them on guys who don’t make their team significantly better.
