Thank you for the info, it's really helpful. I have some questions if you can advise please. I recently bought my first sneaker ( common walker lvl 6 )since I mostly walk and I was thinking buying a 2nd one ( common jogger ) to mint them and get the 3rd sneaker in order to increase the energy per day. Will it be viable to max both sneakers i bought to lvl 9 for instance ( walker + jogger ) or I should max only 1 sneaker ? Hope I was able to explain properly, so far I'm just a newbie 😅 Thank you in advance.

If you already have decided on 1 main shoe to earn (common walker), then you only need the common jogger to be level 5 to mint the 3rd sneaker. Since you only plan to mostly walk with the walker, there is no need to level up your jogger to 9. You are welcome!

Can you explain more on what is meant by efficiency enhancing gst earnings. If i move within the allocated speed, am i not supposed to get a standard amount of gst for my shoe per energy spent?

Each stat/ability on the shoe affects different parts of the game. The more points Efficiency has (either the base stat, or points you put from leveling up), the more GST the shoe will earn per energy.

Hi! Great video! Questions, if i have more than one shoe and go for a walk does the resilience go down on all the other shoes so i have to repair them aswell and also does all their stats effect my walks or is it only like a specific equipped shoe that effects my walks? Thanks!

Thank you! Durability for a shoe only goes down for the shoe that you are using the energy for. So all your other shoes do not suffer durability loss.

@@MrStrange1984 Yes, just choose your main shoe to use when you have energy to use. Once your main shoe uses up all the energy, you will have to wait for the next refill for your account.

You are welcome. To increase GST earnings, you can level up your main shoe, or increase the daily energy gain. 3 sneakers would give you 4 energy, which is 20 minutes of earning.

Thank you very much for the video !!! One little question. When you take 2 shoes to mint 1 shoe, those 2 vintage shoes or ( the parents shoes ) are they losing attributes when they have minted, or, are they losing effeciency ?

The only thing that changes on the vintage/parent shoes is the mint count. Each shoe can mint 7 times maximum. No attribute or efficiency loss from minting.

Great video! I have some questions for you. Does it only take money to level up your shoe to level 5 or do you need to run for some time ? If you need to run, how many days does it take to level up your shoe to level 5 ?

Thanks for the support! To level up to 5, you need to use energy with your shoe (walk/jog/run) and the energy converts into GST (StepN crypto token). Each level up, from 0 to 1, 1 to 2, etc requires GST. Leveling up from 4 to 5 also requires GMT (the 2nd StepN crypto token). You can easily use the in-game swap feature to convert GST to GMT. Starting from a completely new account, if I remember my experience correctly, it takes less than a week to hit level 5. Probably 4 or 5 days.

Just took a deep dive into the mint and sell strategy. Because of the 6% commision for each sale, this method becomes reliant to constantly minting better shoes. Which is gambling imo.

Assuming decent stats, level 5 trainer would remain your main earning shoe to keep and level up. If you want to try and highroll, getting another trainer (if you can afford it), which gives you a 25% chance of minting a new trainer (which would sell very well). Cheaper option would be to get a jogger, which gives you 80% chance to mint a new jogger and 8% chance to mint a new trainer. Both would sell very well.

An additional question from me: when you were explaining the profit calculation for the mint and sell strategy, why did you only count capital cost of 1 shoe + upgrade + minting cost.. don't you need 2 shoe to be able to mint them together? and then you will have 2 level 5 shoe with 2 mint which you can sell..

@@supershortstiktok5986 You are correct; I did not include the 6% tax when selling a shoe. It does take a good amount out of the resale profit, so be sure to calculate that in when determining how much to list shoes for when selling.

Yes! If you have the capital to invest in 2 shoes at the start, you should go ahead. I was explaining it from the perspective of a new player that wanted to start with, or can only afford, only 1 shoe.

Not able to understand, my base efficiency is 1.3 but even after adding points after leveling up. The green bar efficiency shows 25.3.

Base value does not change (for now). However, if you add level up points to an attribute, the shoe earnings will be based on the total stat (so base + level up points). In your case, your GST is being calculated off your total efficiency of 25.3.

You forgot the essential in your math: the 6% fee to sell the shoes on the marketplace. Including that fee in, 80% of your profits just disappear and it makes the strategy dangerous. Am I wrong?

You are correct; I excluded the 6% market fee applied to sellers. That is indeed a big cut in determining the sell price and takes away from the profit.

I think I am missing something in your calculations: how am I going to mint with only 1 shoe? For example the 1st mint cost is 100 GST per shoe = 200 GST in total. But to get the total cost required to have 3 shoes, you are adding floor cost of 1 shoe + mint costs taken from using 2 shoes?

The mint cost is per shoe. For example, if a 0 mint shoe cost 100 GST and a 3 mint shoe cost 150 GST, then breeding the 0 and the 3 will cost a total of 250 GST (100 + 150) FYI, the minting cost was recently changed, as of late April 2022. Depending on budget, buying 1 trainer is a good strategy to start with if you can afford it. You are correct that your suggestion would earn a lot of GST daily.

That is correct, but you only get 2 energy/day with 1 shoe, you need 3 shoes to get 4 energy

More energy does not increase your earnings, it just gives you more energy to convert into the earnings. The Shoe type, stats and level affect earnings.

I bought Sol on Binance but when I try to transfer them to Stepn Wallet, the system says the network is suspended. It’s been like that for 2 days. Does anyone know how to send Sol from binance to stepn?

It could be because of the current increased in market activity due to volatility causing network congestion. Also, what I do is I transfer SOL from my binance(us) to a Phantom wallet. Then I transfer from Phantom to StepN app.

Do a test transfer first (small amount). kzbin.info/www/bejne/pqHHqYWrg66Daqs The other way (many steps, but this is the process I follow): 1. Buy SOL on binance exchange 2. Create Phantom wallet address and copy address 3. Go to withdraw SOL on binance, and send it to your Phantom wallet address (do a small amount as a test, if first time) 4. Wait for transaction to go through; this could be 5 minutes to over 1 hour, depending on Solana network congestion 5. Once SOL is on Phantom wallet, copy your StepN wallet address 6. Send SOL from Phantom wallet to StepN wallet 7. Wait for transaction to go through; this could be 5 minutes to over 1 hour, depending on Solana network congestion 8. SOL will show up in StepN app wallet (not spending) 9. Transfer SOL from StepN app wallet to "spending" 10. You can now buy shoes

Agreed. Right now, the StepN project is getting a lot of hype, which is drawing in more users and raising the floor price of NFTs, assets, tokens. Usually when something is overhyped, it readjusts downward. But I don't know and can't tell if that will happen, and/or when it will.

A 2 mint shoe has a "next mint" cost of 150 (75 GST and 75 GMT), a 3 mint shoe has a "next mint" cost of 200 (100 GST and 100 GMT). If you mint 3 with 2, add those up (350 total)

Yeah, I can't sustain it for a full energy session. I'm ok going at a decent speed jog clocking in at 9-10km/h. Also, as long as we stay in range, we still earn; no need to be at the top end of the range unless it's a personal challenge or preference.
