There is one more risk. Project only works as far as there are new users that invest real money. As soon as there are no more people willing to get into it and the hype is gone, the organizers will close project out cause there is no reason to waste money and pay users that are already on the platform. In the end it pretty much a pyramid scheme. But I still thinks it worth to get into it before 2023.

Basically where my head is at and why I have been reluctant to buy in. Its much more fun watching someone else risk the biscuit. The way I see it though is if people pull out their initial investment before it tanks they have nothing but gains to make.

Yea, this is what most people who understand little about blockchain world thinks at first. I also had the same thoughts but when you try to dig deeper, you can see that there could be a real value. Big companies like Binance and Asics have already signed partnerships with Stepn. Imagine if one day health organizations would also partner up because active and healthy people = less money spent on their treatment. Also commuting on foot reduces CO2 emissions. The project is still in it's very early stage and I don't believe that current profits will remain like this. I think Axie infinity is a good case study, the game is up for 4 years already and people are still making money there.

For me the genius thing about this game it´s since you have to pay something so expensive as a NFT for 12 SOL (as today April 23) then you wouldn´t stop. I couldn’t tell you how long it will last. For perspective I had another friend buy in because he saw what the person I mention in the video was earning and after he made the purchase the value of Gst crashed so it’s now going to take him twice as long to pull out his initial investment. If the value continues to drop it will only make it harder to recoup his initial investment. It is still very risky in my opinion

The prices of shoes should fluctuate with the price of GST. I believe the risk is where someone makes an expensive purchase and the price drops too quickly making it difficult to pull out their initial investment.

Theoretically yes you can. You would need to do the maths to make sure that the return on investment would be worth it. I know a few people who run with multiple phones and it has been paying off for them so far.

I agree with this logic however I am very interested to see what impact brands bringing their own NFTs to the project has on the value of the token. Also as GST is burned through the use of actually participating which I think will make it enjoyable for many even if the current daily earnings reduces over time. I see it as playing a game. You invest some money to gain entertainment.

GST is used to repair and upgrade your shoes. I.e. you can reinvest what you earn to both a) continue playing the game and b) increase your GST earnings. A portion of the tokens are burnt as part of this process.

Its game value as well should be considered as you can use the earned currency to actually play the game. This could keep users interested while the creators introduce other revenue sources "one example I make in the video is bringing brands to the platform to entice users to continue playing. I personally do not believe it will stay like this for a long time but as the hype seems to still be picking up I see it growing for a while longer still.

I think the time has passed for this sheme it's a bit of a pyramid scheme the profit and your earnings come from the purchases £1000+ of the shoes,, I have looked into this scheme over the past week. those that started early did make good return though this amount currently seems to be at least have halved since those that joined early, will that continue ? also some people are losing money transferring money to join maybe an accident lack of tech knowledge or a tech let down?

It will also increase the amount of GST created and potentially liquidated from the project. More users and easier access to earn doesn't mean it will be a positive outcome for the project (from a financial point of view)

Example, one day before El Salvador made BTC a legal tender, the price of BTC dropped, some days/weeks later it recovered and sabilized, sure it plunge later during this whole long bear market (not just crypto) but you get the point. Its similar when it comes to stock market.... people, especially retail investors react too emotional the day before something happens, example the FED said tommorow they would rise the interest rates and the stock market plunged before it actually happend (day before they rised the interest rates).

It’s tracks exercise speed and If you don’t travel within that speed it won’t generate Gst. Additionally there is a feature called moon walking that tracks movement of your phone where again it won’t generate Gst unless your phone is moving in a motion that would mimic the motion of your arms if you were running. Im sure you could engineer a solution but tbh I don’t see why you wouldn’t just do the exercises it’s not like they make it hard to earn
