I disagree with this you on this, in the actual TV episode, the sets, the characters and the dark atmosphere is done way better there and has Arry and Bert seen as mystery diesels, whom Sir Topham Hatt handout been able to question for. But I’ll respect yours. But we have to appreciate Allcroft and Mittion”s work on our childhood.

I prefer how the TV adaptation left it for the viewer to decide what was really going on. Whether it was a prank or not we are never told. It's like Duncan Gets Spooked where we aren't told whether the Ghost Engine is real or not. This is clever writing. But I like this alternate take on the story as well as it goes more in depth about things and is clearer about where Stepney really belongs. This adaptation feels like it would be in the Brenner era.

T1E2H3, jesus. You made so many good decisions with this episode! The accents, Stepney trying to tell off ‘Arry and Bert, and using music from Toby & the Flood. The best part was when Sir topham hatt punished Arry and Bert, the one thing I truly felt was missing from the original episode. I didn’t think you could make this episode better, but you did

I think that this is a very good remake! I cannot tell you how satisfying it was to see The Fat Controller yell at 'Arry and Bert for attempting murder. I really hope that you do more stories like Busy Going Backwards in future. Keep up the good work!

Man, this feels much more complete compared to the canon episode. Not only were Arry and Bert were properly introduced, they were also punished for there attempted scraping of Stepney! If you were to ever do anymore realistic remakes, any chance that you will cover SOMETHING IN THE AIR or MIDDLE ENGINE? Those two really did not sit well regarding to the green engines features in those episodes...

Amazing adaptation! I love the actual episode, but this version is even better. I picture the same way that Stepney had in the episode, but have him visit Sodor from the Bluebell Railway for a few days. Still, I enjoyed everything the adaptation has, and you did it brilliantly!

It always bugged me that Stepney was supposedly somewhere on the island, especially after they pretty much stated (although not out right) that he lived on the mainland the season prior. Just by tweaking the wording in some places this has become, I dare say, better than the original :)
