That photo is the damn bogus, fake, band where Nick and Goldie played for short before that, so called, " band" finally split. It gave John Kay many headaches and twisted thoughts for justice prevailing. Thus original Steppenwolf merged into John Kay and Steppenwolf, afterwards.
