Thanks for the video. The concepts of stepping moter are very well explained. Please make a follow-up video on Servo motor, specifically PMSM

Nice micro stepping explanation! Will you do close loop servo stepping? 🙏🏻

Appreciate the effort ! ... I truly like the information depth. I do see that it has not gone weirdly complex but from an electrical engineer's perspective this information video is quite productive! ... どうもありがとうございます。

Excellent vid!!! I have some nice ones from a bix xerox print copier unit. Now i know a lot more about them, and look forward to making a circuit to try and drive them. Are there any downsides to microstepping, other than the driver cost and complexity?

fyi: yt seems to use internal titles for automatic title translation. in german it's "(Vorläufiger Titel) Erläuterung des Funktionsprinzips und der Struktur des Schrittmotors"

They are basically BLDC motors with a Hall Effect sensor to control/report the RPM. Most cheap ones have a single chip which has both the Motor driver and the Hall Effect sensor.
