i like to embrace what i call “soft summer” when i miss autumn - it’s evening beach swims / reading while during warm thunderstorms / playing slow, acoustic songs that feel like the beach’s sand / wearing shorts but also a sweater / getting iced chai lattes / playing my vinyls / eating more soup !! helps with the desire for autumn by slowly releasing me into it :)

Never be afraid to sprinkle a little cinnamon on every day. Currently, Im cozied up under my ac bundled in my long sweater with a big coffee in my HP mug. I'm just enjoying the peace of a quiet home for a few minutes. I always get fall fever this time of year so I always celebrate with a Garfield Halloween movie on my birthday, 7-26, and I just get inspired for fall. I decorated my house with sunflowers and pampas grass to bring in that warm feel and I have cinnamon apple candles for that extra touch. It may not fall, but this is such a big boost to my mood. I say do what makes you happy. I don’t think you are so much celebrating a season but a way of life. Fall people get it ❤

I could not possibly be more opposed to you on the seasonal spectrum.😂 I live for Spring. In March I can barely make it through. Every day of Summer is a meditation in gratitude. I plant, swim, dance and drum on the beach. I wear awesome outfits, exercise, eat fruits and veg right out of the ground, and drink gallons of cool water. I lose weight w/o trying and my body snaps back to firmness and flexibility. My skin gets browner and even toned. I drink in every minute /every hour. Even heat waves are born with acceptance. As Summer begins to die, a pall of sadness creeps in and I brace myself for Fall (it has its pretty moments - perhaps to stave off full blown depression too early in the process.) I’ll watch you then, Darling Desi, to find the charm of Autumn again. But until that time - you can have your pumpkin spice lattes! I’m still drinking my Margarita!

I love the white, orange, and tan blanket. Where did you get it. I'm the opposite... I recently made a Summer story board inspired by you. I'm seeing a lot of back to school and Fall things. Don't get me wrong, I love Fall. It is my favorite season. However, I'm tired of feeling rushed, pushed to do the next thing. It makes me anxious. I want to be present in the season.
