One of the beauties of effective, biblical, focused prayer is that we can step into realms and places in prayer and intercession that we are yet to see or visit. Prayer takes us into the future; it reveals what is coming and how we can effectively connect to such reality in faith. The spirit of wisdom, revelation and knowledge is a powerful kingdom key in engaging with a world that is manipulated and controlled by what humans can merely see. Heaven desires us to rise up in the newness of the spirit of vision and revelation so we are not bound to the temporal realities around us.
The whole essence of biblical spirituality is to relocate our position in Christ, a position that is not influenced by the temporary needs and challenges of life. Living life from the superficial, seen realm can be very tiring and frustrating regardless of how we try to keep up. When we, however, choose to establish our sense of existence from the eternal, unseen realm, we live within the staying wisdom and power of God.
Ephesians 1:16, 17
I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers, 17 and asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in your knowledge of Him.
The Lord is doing a new thing within the seemingly difficult and contradictive issues around us. The Spirit of the Lord is bringing us to a place of vision and revelation to see and participate in the opening of the newness of our day. The revelation to build according to divine intention is now being ushered into the earth, and only those who have yielded themselves to their desire and will of the Father will hear the voice of the sound of entering this new day.
2 Corinthians 4: 17-18
17 For our light and momentary affliction is producing for us an eternal glory that is far beyond comparison. 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
