CHRIST DIED ON THURSDAY AFTERNOON. Wednesday evening to Thursday evening is the Passover day. Thursday evening to Friday evening is the PREPARATION DAY OF SABBATH. Friday evening to Saturday evening is the SABBATH DAY. Christ died on a Thursday afternoon, Which was Still Passover Day. Joseph took his body on the Thursday evening, Which was also the Sabbath Preparation Night (Mark 15: 43). The women Prepared spices and ointment on Friday Morning, Which was also the Sabbath Preparation Morning (Luke 23:55-56). Everyone rested on the Sabbath, Which started on Friday Night to Saturday Morning. The women Bought Spices and ointment on Saturday Night (Mark 16:1). Christ was not Found on Sunday Morning, he resurrected (Mark 16: 2) This analogy makes everything make sense, including Jonahs 3 nights and 3 days. The three Nights are, THURSDAY, FRIDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHT. The three Days are FRIDAY, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY MORNING. I hope this clears your confusion. Christians are wrong for thinking Jesus died on Friday Afternoon. And Christians are also wrong for thinking Jesus died on Wednesday Afternoon. Christ died on Thursday afternoon.

I love your content and greatly appreciate you making these videos, but I do have a question. Is it accurate to say that baptism (one of dunking into the water) is a requirement for salvation? I ask because in Acts 15:9 it talks about being purified through faith and in Romans 4 about how our outward acts are not what determine our salvation but our faith. Also mentioned in Romans 10:9 it is said we would be saved through declaring that Yeshua (Jesus) is Lord and believing with our heart that God raised him from the dead then we would be saved. Just wanted to pose the question as I have seen it debated whether or not the physical act of a baptism is required or not. Thank you and God bless

Lex..... I was blessed by your biblical wisdom when you quoted scripture about sin and God's holiness, etc. However, Lex, I was grieved when I found out about your soteriological beliefs in this video.... Baptism is absolutely NOT a requirement for salvation, but it is a "gift" after we have received the Holy Spirit (Acts 10). The scriptures you quoted about baptism were severely misinterpreted, and were brought out of context... Faith and belief in the Savior is THEE requirement for Salvation; to repent; to be born again; to receive the Holy Spirit; to see God the Father, etc. Most importantly faith is not a work, but a gift; thus what your teaching is false teaching since you mention baptism is required, yet it is a "work" if it is truly required. You also mention "baptism is our response to the saving work of Christ and of the the cross"... This goes against scripture when Paul says "we were DEAD in our trespasses and sin" Eph 2:2, which means we had absolutely NO part in our salvation. You also mentioned Acts 2:38 where Peter does mention to be baptized for the remission of sins, in which you translate as "repent and be baptized TO BE saved" but I implore you to look at at the right interpretation in the greek. It translates as "Repent and be baptized BECAUSE OF the remission of sins." Please read Acts 10:43-48 as it also backs up this interpretation of Acts 2:38. In other words you cannot receive the gift of Holy Spirit when you get baptized, but when you believe with genuine faith. Roman 10:13 also addresses this in the same fashion. This interpretation not only contradicts how the thief on the cross had just been born again on his own cross without baptism, but your belief goes against the true Gospel in its purpose. I pray that you will rethink, study and really pray and ask the Lord if what I am saying is false or true.

Here's why. My friend, the law is utterly useless to keep one from sinning. The commandment kills, but the Spirit gives life! It is by grace, through faith and the working of the Holy Spirit, that people overcome sin. There is no other way. All those who return to the law, will die and be judged by the law. Those who seek righteousness through faith are justified, and the Spirit. makes intercession for them and gives them power so that they are able to overcome the sins of the flesh and truly love God and his neighbor.

@@chucksmith4624 The law was never intended to save, only condemn. Hence the need for sacrifice. Does this negate the law's purpose? No (Romans 7:7)! God never intended anyone to be justified by the law, but this didn't stop people from trying. Christ's law (or Jesus' commentary of Torah given during the sermon on the mount), if incorrectly applied (just like the Mosaic law) will condemn.

Complete misquoting of 2 Corinthians 7:10 at 0:50. When paired with Hebrews 6 the understanding is obviously; that repentance is done ONCE, unto salvation, and that Godly sorrow is the realization that we need Jesus Christ. This can not be repeated; as Hebrews 6 forbids "the laying again of the foundation of repentance". Any Christians other than OSAS are catholics in disguise. Martin Luther and true protestants taught OSAS. Sola Gratia, Sola Fide.

I’ve heard it explained that no one is actually “saved” until they are in God’s kingdom. We are all walking the path that leads to salvation. A person may step off the path but repent and get back on it. But remember God’s grace is required to find the narrow path and remain on the narrow path. I could be wrong though.

No, that would mean Jesus sacrifice wasn't suffcient. If your are born again you can't be unborn. You've been cleansed by the blood and coverd by his blood. Remember your soul is what is saved. Not your flesh. When you are born again you have the righteousness of God and once we receive glorified uncorrupted bodies we will no longer wrestle with the flesh.

@@jonsamxav that's an odd concept when the bible tells how to be saved. Scripture says If we confess with our mouth that jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that God raised him from the dead you shall be saved according to scripture. All the sudden its not true? That's kind of deceiving. We are saved by grace through faith not by works according to scripture. If we are constantly having to keep ourselves from "stepping outside" of God's grace then A. That's relying on our own faulty preformance instead of faith in the finished work of Christ on the cross and B. That literally isn't grace at that point. If we get off course the Holy spirit gives us inspiration to be more christ like. It's not a matter of God revoking your salvation. "it is finished".

NKJV then what was the whole point of Jesus dying on the cross for our sins then hmmm i mean Jesus died FOR ARE SINS basically means if we make a mistake we could repent with all your heart mind and soul and do what we can not to sin again BUT if we do sin AGAIN that does not mean we are a Child of the Devil NO ONE IS PERFECT we are going to make mistake's IN LIFE any one who says that there PERFECT are a LIER and has PRIDE in there Hart.

Perhaps there is a misunderstanding. Lex is not saying that God requires perfection. Nor is he saying that there is forgiveness for those who are truly repentant. The point here is that we as believers in Messiah cannot willfully live a life of sin. The spirit of God does not abide in a filthy temple. Grace and forgiveness are not excuses for us to habitually sin. The Word tells us that we must follow in the footsteps of Messiah, that we must turn from sin, pray to resist temptation, to cut off or gouge out from our life what is causing us to sin. It is folly to believe that we can live like the world, sin like the world and yet expect the reward only promised to the righteous. We are called to be set apart. Those who endure until the end, even those will be saved. Salvation is not a prayer made that is soon forgotten, it's not empty words and a life of sin. Salvation is faith-based and yet our actions soon follow if we love him.
